Isaac Bruce because he has 15,208 career receiving yards.

Jack Youngblood because he's a monster who can play with a broken leg.

    Am I missing anyone??

I wonder what it would take to see Steven Jackson on the list I would just like to see three rams running backs.

Seems like there should have been room for Jack Youngblood, Jackie Slater and Isaac Bruce.

Although I have several problems with the list, particularly Jerry Rice above Jim Brown, and Johnny Unitas down at 6, I think the Rams are represented well with 7 out of 100. Maybe I'm biased, but I'd put Jack Youngblood, who was a special player, on the list over several others who made it. Maybe Ike, another special player who kept his mouth shut and just put up prolific HOF numbers and helped win a championship.

My sentiments exactly when I was watching the countdown. I'm shocked, to be honest. How'd they not have, at least, Youngblood?

Jackie Slater has to be the biggest omission in my opinion. How could he not be on the list. Henry Ellard I think could have made it as well as Isaac Bruce. Ellard carried a 16.9 yard per catch average which was higher than Bruce by 2 yards per catch and 2.1 yds more per catch than Jerry Rice. He obviousley was on much worse teams than Rice or Bruce. He had over 13,000 yds and 7 1,000 yard seasons. Torry Holt could also be mentioned with his 8 straight 1000 yard seasons. I also think you can throw Pace in the mix along with Bruce,Ellard and Slater as well. Does Kevin Greene count even though he played for the Steelers too? Of course this is just my opinion as a Rams fan.

I agree with others on who was ommitted. The main thing I have a problem with though is Marshall Faulk at 70. People tend to forget about how great of a player he was and he is certainly better than the 70th best player in NFL history.

Yes, agreed: HOF Rams Jack Youngblood and Jackie Slater. Only two or three players endured 20 stellar years in the NFL as did the Slayer -- and with one team too! Talk about a pro career. Sir Isaac, as well, has the WR numbers to be in there as one the all-time best.

Hail Rams! All listed in NFL Top 100 and others we know as great players of our organization.

The list didn't pay alot to Receivers, Besides Rice, in the sense that there were only 6 of them. I think it definitely has more to do with it than stats because TO isn't on there and he is second in most receiving categories. That explains why Ike isn't on there.

And that's why lists like these are infuriating. To not have a guy like Jack Youngblood listed yet have Michael Strahan on there renders the list irrelevant in my book. Youngblood is a hall-of-famer who is one of the game's all-time players at his position. I could go on and on about his achievements, but I'd be preaching to the choir.

Sad to say, I don't think Isaac will ever get his due, partly because there have been a lot of great receivers in the NFL's history but also because he was never one to draw attention to himself. Pathetic that you almost have to be a self-promoter today to get the moronic ESPN-types to pay attention to you.

The only saving grace is that with 8 guys, the Rams were well-represented on this list.

6 consecutive seaons with 1300 yards

6 consecutive seaons with over 90 receptions

One of two players with two 1600+ yards seasons

Fastest Player to reach 10,000 yards

Yeah, they might have missed Torry Holt's name on there somewhere.

Re: Top 100 which great Ram is not on the list?

Ike was the consummate pro and the fact he never was a flashy player was most likely a strong contributing factor to the omission. Jackis Slater played 20 years for one team. He was All Pro I beleive 11 years and dominated for the Rams. Jack Youngblood. Sedrfiously, this list becomes suspect without his name on it. I watched Jack play many times and he dominated his position. Opposing teams designed their gameplans to stay away from him.

One other name is Dennis Harrah. Another consummate pro.

But, it is a very subjective list and really holds no menaing to me since I know who I love as past ram players and have enjoyed their talents on the field.
