Re: Top Positions We Must Rebuild

    1. O-Line
    2. D-Line (mainly Tackle plus rotational players)
    3. MLB
    4. Secondary
    5. QB (we need to draft now for the future.)

Nothing on this team is going to work without the line (offense or defense). This is the MOST PRESSING NEED

The only reason I have QB on here is that we need to draft for the future. I'd like to get a top prospect in to learn for a couple of years. All this talk about Bulger is the same garbage being thrown around about Warner. Fix the line, then let's talk about Bulger. I've never been a huge Bulger fan. But this blame game is getting stupid.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Re: Top Positions We Must Rebuild

    1. OL... All positions
    2. MLB
    3. SS
    4. CB
    5. TE
    6. OL... I would pick up these guys until they are 5 deep and have a real competition for each one of these positions
    7. DL, DE to replace Little or a DT but I like Carriker and Ryan and wouldn't put replacing them on the priority list

Also I would look at any other LB's we can find. Pisa is too inconsistent for my liking.

My draft order depending on what we can or can't pick up in the off-season, would go like this.

    1st. BPA out of OL
    2nd. SS
    3rd. BPA of OL/MLB
    4th TE
    5th OL/LB
    6th CB
    7th OL

Re: Top Positions We Must Rebuild

    1. Interior Offensive Line - Have we forgotten what a pocket is supposed to look like?
    2. Offensive Line - Yes, it's that bad.
    3. Linebacker - We are woefully thin on the depth chart, and the starters continue to be part of the problem in the run defense.
    4. Safety - I actually thought Chavous had a relatively good game. I remember him making some good solo stops in the first half. However, he is getting older and we need to be looking to the future. Corner is a need in the secondary, too, but we probably ought to hold off on drafting yet another one until we've figured out whether Hill will work through this year's relapse, whether Wade will ever be able to learn the nuances of the position, and what King will look like healthy.
    5. Offensive Line again? - I'm tired of our team ranking among the worst teams in sacks allowed year in and year out. We won't even go into how little yardage our backs could eke out behind that line today.
    6. Developmental Quarterback - Always good to be looking for the next big thing because a franchise QB is so hard to find.

We have McMichael. Just unfortunate that he's done for the year. However, we should look into getting another one in the free agency.

We need to wipe our O-line out. I don't know who's playing bad or who is doing okay. But we need to replace (Easily) four spots on this line...

No. #1 for sure is definitly, positively & absolutely the QB position, then whatever else!
So what will you say when our $60 million 1st Round QB sucks because he still has no pass protection?

We gotta fix the o-line. Period. Fixing the other positions would just be bonuses.

    1. O-line by far miles and miles away
    2. Secondary
    3. MLB
    4. QB
    5. TE
    6. D-line rotation

We have had so many wasted picks its not even funny. Worst drafters i've ever seen Ziggy and company better be gone by the end of the season. Devaney seems to have had a pretty good draft now lets see some more more of hsi drafties like Grecco and Schuening get a chance over some of our bums. Grecco and Schuening should be our starting right side if even only for evaluation. As for our secondary we need tock up bartell and Oj and find compliments to both of them. Ive never been a fan of moving spoon, but this year ive realized it has to be done.

That right there should be our draft order.

    first pick- o-line
    second - secondary
    third- mlb
    fourth- Qb, or TE
    fifth - Qb or TE
    sixth- D-line
    Seventh - idk

And thats not to say we dont trade some players for some more draft picks.

I put qb 4th or 5th cause right now im rooting we can grab Grahm Harrel there. possibly.

Devaney did a great job this past year, i hope he can keep it up this next draft, looks like we might be drafting in the top 5 again.

Re: Top Positions We Must Rebuild

The phrases is you win in the trenches not trench, and right now we have a trench on defense and offense we have a hole a little kid dug at the beach. I've been screaming for the rookies to start on the right side, we have to at least see what they've got.

Is it just me or has signing Bell been Devaneys worst move so far. He has been horendous like the rest of the o-line. In the offseason we definately have to build a new revamped cohesive unit.

    1: O-Line
Enough of this rubbish blocking. They can't double block someone much less execute a one on one block. Lecky, Bell and Incognito are getting their arses slaughtered. Orlando Pace should retire. He is not what he use to be. Barron needs to be replaced.

    2: Our Secondary
We are in need of a strong safety very badly. Chavous could not beat a 70-year old lady in a 40 yard dash. We need to get a real, shutdown corner. Brown, Craft and Wade are just not making it happen. We get Justin King back after this season ends but I am not sure how he will execute after taking a whole season off because of injury.

3: A fullback and tight end
Kreider needs to get the heck off this team. No excuses for poor blocking. You're getting paid man! Do your damn job and block!!
We also need a tight end that can jump up and make catches, and who can also be a big redzone target Bulger can throw to.

    4: Linebacker
We need a TRUE MLB now. Witherspoon is suited on the outside. We need a real, big brusin' player in the middle to boost our run defense.

    5: Quarterback
We need to get a young guy into this team, and make him into a potential starter. I have faith in Bulger, but we have to face reality here.
you had me until linebacker. I still believe Witherspoon. Your right about Kreider, who gets paid to block for Jackson, and is asked nothing else from him. I still have faith in McMichael, who is injury prone but has shown he can get it done. O-line must be adressed first, and then Strong Safety.
