Is Torry making a good decision?? -- Knee
Not sure this is the way to handle his knee problem. Lets cross our fingers.
Rams | Holt trying to avoid surgery
Tue, 7 Feb 2006 21:49:32 -0800
Jim Thomas, writing for the Sporting News, reports St. Louis Rams WR Torry Holt (knee) is trying to avoid surgery on his right knee, which suffered injuries to both the posterior cruciate ligament and meniscus cartilage during the 2005 season. The PCL has healed and Holt continues to do rehab work to strengthen the knee during the offseason. If he experiences a setback, he will undergo minor surgery. If Holt does have surgery, he will have to make that decision soon so he does not miss any minicamp time. Minicamps are more important than they have been in years for the Rams with a new head coach and a revised offense.

Re: Is Torry making a good decision?? -- Knee
My concern with Torry is whether he'll play in the Pro Bowl. That would seem counterproductive. I'm surprised that he's not just going to get his knee scoped now so that he is certain to be 100% by minicamp, but some people are just afraid of surgery.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Is Torry making a good decision?? -- Knee
My wife had knee surgery back in November. We checked in at 10:30 and by 1:30, I was driving her home. Knee surgery is so streamlined these days.
