The Torry & Terrence Holt Reunion in Carolina...

...ain't happening. I keep seeing people mention Holt doesn't care about the Rams and that he's leaving after this year to play with his brother Terrence in Carolina, and feel the need to set the record straight.

Terrence does not play for Carolina anymore. He never saw any action there and got cut before the regular season even started on 08/30. The Bears signed him on 10/22, and then terminated his contract on 11/11 so he is now a free agent.

There will be no Holt brother reunion anywhere, much less Carolina.

But could you see Holt's days ending elsewhere?

He hasn't been playing too well. We all know that. But he's the only WR mentor we have. He is teaching Avery and Burton everything they know in the NFL.

Wait a minute...are you telling me there's another once-elite/now-washed-up veteran available? Quick, someone get Ziggy on the phone. We still have cap room, right? C'mon, what's the hold-up. Let's sign him right away.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

While I'm sure that having his brother on the Panthers added some additional incentive for Torry to want to play for Carolina, we should remember that he was born in Greensboro, NC, and went to school at NC State which is in Raleigh. So should he have the chance to go play for his "home team," he may take it. And he very well may have that chance, as the Rams may not want to pay him the current terms of his contract given his production.

Hey love the fact that you are giving our hometown so much love, but something is not right with Torry, I'm not sure if it's mental or physical but he just doesn't look the same.

I don't think Terrence was ever "elite" was he?

Still, it wouldn't surprise me if the team dumped him after this year, as sad as it makes me to say.

No Terrence was never on the level of his brother.

Re: The Torry & Terrence Holt Reunion in Carolina...

I think Holts problem is that he seen how this franchise treated Bruce who was one of the most important members here since he joined the NFL. He did everything for this team and when it came down to it, the team just pushed him aside like he was nothing and the past meant nothing.

Holt is much the same as Bruce, and preceivably could have been with this team for his entire career like Bruce should have been, but not Holt feels no compassion towards a team that he sees doesn't actually care about individuals. The most important part of any business are its Human resources and the Rams have shown disloyalty to the players here which is why we see no heart coming in retun from them.

Bruce signified everything that was wrong with this organization and I think that as long as he's in this league and playing with not only another team but our rivals then we will never again see our players commit to this franchise.
