Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
As much as I like what the Rams have done, our division will be a handful. Add to that, we have the Panthers, Ravens, and Falcons, not to mention the Steelers, Cowboys and Bengals....we've really got a tough road ahead.
I'm very optomistic about this teams potential. They filled quite a few holes, but I'm not sure the run defense has been solidified, and I think that we may need some balls to bounce our way to get to 9 or 10 wins. Otherwise, it could be 8-8 mediocrity again.
Just being realistic.
Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
As much as I hate to admit the 8-8 comment I believe you are right. I'm just not sure about our run D. But i'm hoping our amazing O will bring us through those games!
Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
8-8 was last season. 9-7 at the very least for the 2007 season.

Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
As is the case every year, the key here is to win the division. If the Rams can focus on those games and come out the winner, everything else will fall into place. Keep in mind that the way things go in the NFL, whether or not this is truly a tough schedule is very unpredictable at this point.

While it's true that this schedule is a good deal tougher than what people are saying, I still think we will fare pretty well.
A) I don't see Dallas being as good without Parecells and Plus Romo is a bum. Also they lack an elite running back to take advantage of our biggest weakness, the line.
B) The same pretty much goes for the Steelers, Car and GB.
C) Finally, Disco is dead on about are divisional games being are number one priority. After all is said and done, the only REAL threat in our division is still the Shechickens. SF and Az still have more question marks than we do.
My prediction.

11-5? I like it, but I'm afraid thats a little optimistic.

Good lord take the homer glasses off buddy.
Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
Ok fair enough, my season prediction was definitely a little on the "optimistic" side. But with that being said I don't see it being completely unrealistic either. Theirs a good chance we will split a game with AR and MAYBE SF, besides that i'm sticking to at least a 10-6 record.
Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
i never think we will lose, i always believe we will win.
Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
anywhere from 8-8 to 11-5 is not that far fetched... it all hinges on if the rams can create turnovers in bunches.... simple as that... we know they will be able to score in bunches , but if the defense can get a few stops in crucial times and some needed turnovers this teams will be in contention all year long for the NFC title
Re: Tough schedule makes this season hard to predict.
Look at this road trip:
@TB-W
@DAL-W
ARZ-W
@BAL-L
@SEA-L
CLE-W
bye week
@NO-L
@SF-W
6 out of 8 games on the road.
Hopefully, like many are stating, some of the teams on their schedule take a step back, perhaps Dallas, and Carolina.
