Toughest Rams to Support
Have you ever had a situation in which you really didn't like a Rams player or coach, but had to support him because he was a Ram?
Here is my list of the guys who I really disliked, but supported because they were Rams:
1. Kyle Turley
2. Lawrence Phillips
3. Jim Haslett
4. Jason Sehorn
5. Richie Incognito
6. Leonard Little (great talent, but I'll be kinda glad when he's gone).
Let's hope I don't have to add Tim Tebow to this list!
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Toughest Rams to Support
I've often been in the unfortunate position of having to root for someone who plays for my team despite not liking them. I am a big Dodgers fan and it pains me to have to pull for Manny Ramirez, who I have little respect for. Ditto for Ron Artest on the Lakers.
As far as AV's list, Lawrence Phillips tops my selections. Just a complete dirtbag who should have NEVER been drafted. When I saw he'd been given Nolan Cromwell's old jersey # 21, I wanted to vomit. Just a stain on the organization.
Little should be serving time. His punishment was a joke. And you wonder why people don't trust the justice system.
I have no hatred for Jim Haslett. He is Vince Lombardi compared to former d-coordinator Larry Marmie, who was beyond worthless.
And we can't forget about former Ram, cornerback Darryl Henley, who I believe is serving a 40 year sentence for cocaine trafficking and hiring a hitman to kill the judge assigned to his case. Nice guy.Last edited by NJ Ramsfan1; -12-09-2009 at 10:01 PM. Reason: forgot information

Re: Toughest Rams to Support
1. Tony Banks (what a joke I actually hated my team for letting this guy disgrace us like he did just absolute pathetic play)
2. Lawrence P. ( I still have a jersey with his name and number and want to use it for car duties but it's a rams jersey so i don't know what to do
)
3. Jim Haslett ( I'm still mad at him for coaching the Saints against us)
4. Jason Seahorn ( a waste of money and anything we spent/used for the guy)
5. Marc Bulger ( I don't know if it's just he was the act behind Warner or what, I'm not saying he is utter trash but I haven't felt he's been the right fit for us at all for the last couple of years)

Re: Toughest Rams to Support
1) Drew Bennett - barely can be called a Ram because of his limited playing time, but the fact we let Isaac Bruce go for him was terrible. I tried my hardest to like him, but everytime he stepped on the field he was either crap or got injured.
2) Alex Barron - I hoped and hoped and hoped he would turn it around. He has been a very serviceable lineman, playing at both tackle spots, playing through injuries. He wasnt necessarily a great lineman, but he wasnt terrible. However, it seems every single time i was just getting happy with him one of two things would happen:
Someone would remind me he was a first round draft pick
He would screw up a play by missing a block, getting penalised or giving up too early
3) Chris Claiborne - Just a rubbish personnel decision so i instantly disliked him as a waste of money. Especially when Ed Hartwell was on the market at the time.

Yea, but his wife in a Ram's jersey is some kind of extra hottness.Jason Sehorn"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Toughest Rams to Support
Player or coach?
Mike Martz
Donnie Avery
Leonard Little
...are the most immediate that come to mind, besides the obvious picks of L. Phillips and the likes.
But the most difficult Ram member that I ever had to support?
That's easy....uncontested.
