Training camp is returning to St. Louis.
After a one-year hiatus, the Rams decided on Wednesday that this year’s training camp should come back to the Gateway City and the Russell Training Center.
“We looked at and considered a lot of different options,” coach Steve Spagnuolo said. “And ultimately, we decided that for this year and this summer, this was the best place for us and our fans.”
The Rams took the show on the road last summer, training at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin after holding the previous camps here.
But after looking at some other local options, Spagnuolo and general manager Billy Devaney ultimately decided to stay at home.
Dates and times for this year’s camp will be released at a later date but there will be practices open for the fans to come out and get an early look at the 2009 edition of the Rams.
