Travis Fisher's Missed Sack
I only saw the replay one time, but it looked like Fisher tripped over a KC lineman or possibly tripped on the turf on his way towards Huard? Did anyone see for sure if he did trip over the lineman or trip on the turf over his own feet?
Anyone who just wants to say Fisher sucks, don't bother.Last edited by ramsbruce; -11-05-2006 at 06:48 PM.

Re: Travis Fisher's Missed Sack
It looked like he had a b-line going for Huard, but it appeared to me that he tripped over the offensive lineman's foot at the last second. Its hard to fault him on that one.

Re: Travis Fisher's Missed Sack
fisher missed a golden opportunity but all three phases by the offense, defense and ST contributed to mistakes after mistakes in this game...

Re: Travis Fisher's Missed Sack
Yes he did, and you're right the whole team contributed to the loss.
There is a big difference between Fisher having a free run and totally whiffing on that sack and him being tripped up a little which threw him off a bit on his way towards Huard.
Fisher is average at best, but he's hardly the only reason why we are bad on D, I don't understand why people can't just accept he's average and we don't have anything that's much better to replace him this year.BRUUUUUUUUCE

Re: Travis Fisher's Missed Sack
A professional player doesn't get a bye (labeling him an average player) to escape the responsibility of his position. If Fisher plays badly, then he should be called out. If other play unsatisfactorily, then they deserve the same criticism. I can't join your opinion to allow him lesser scrutiny because he's already been called on it.
Fisher is not giving 100% play for his pay even if you think he's average.

Re: Travis Fisher's Missed Sack
Who said anyone is allowing him to escape his responsibility. I have no problem with people calling him out when they have actual facts and not just saying "he sucks" etc.
Where's the lesser scrutiny? If he tripped that makes a whole lot more sense why he missed it than him running in free and just whiffing. He gets scrutiny for missing the sack, but the whole play needs to be analyzed, not just the whiff.BRUUUUUUUUCE
