Just read on KFFL.com

Rams | T. Green completes visit with team
Thu, 6 Mar 2008 15:26:55 -0800
Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports unrestricted free-agent QB Trent Green (Dolphins) completed his visit with the St. Louis Rams Thursday, March 6, and will take a few days to make a decision.

Who thinks he will be a Ram next season?

Re: Trent Green

According to Randy Karraker on the Herd forum:

"Jim Steiner just told us on Team 1380 that it's down to St. Louis and New Orleans for Green. He'll make his decision in the next 48 hours."

I tried to put myself into the shoes of Green and I can't see how he won't be a Ram next season. Former team, former coaches (Saunders and Shea) family and agent residing in or near St. Louis, familiarity with city, fans etc.

I agree with you .ramfan. I can't see how he won't be in a Rams uniform next season.

Re: Trent Green

dont forget that for a backup QB, he is more likely to play if he is behind Bulger than Brees

Re: Trent Green

I'm not sure if this would have any sort of cap ramifications on the signing of Green but the Saints (according to Profootballtalk) have signed Dan Morgan.

Could mean absolutely nothing but I'm just throwing it out there...

Re: Trent Green

I think Green is going to sign with the Rams. Like .ramfan. said, he's got numerous reasons to.

Yes, that scenario does make sense .RF. :l

It would be an interesting irony that TG would / could retire with the Rams, the team where he was destined for great seasons in the first place, i.e., several years ago.

I'd welcome him back.
