    Trent Green too Old?

Trent is going to be our #2 man behind the helm, but is he too old to hold up if Bulger gets hurt early? Everyone is on Brett Favre about retirement, but Trent is only one year younger and Kurt Warner is one year younger than Trent and people are saying he's through. Is Trent too old?

I dont think his age is the issue-its the mileage and the 1,000 shots to the head that he has taken over the years.

Green will be a terrific backup assuming that we can protect him. If we have offensive line woes and he is taking shots (especially to the head) he wont last two weeks.

I am just praying that he gets to play cheerleader and confidant to Bulger this year and nothing more. My wish is that he just collects his paycheck and we all argue the "what if" scenarios right into the playoffs and beyond.
