Trumaine Johnson what does his future hold?
I have been watching and listening the last couple days to what people have been saying about the Rams draft.. almost all has been extremely positive which is a great feeling. I have heard many people comment that Johnson is a big and physical corner who may not have greatest long speed, i cant say if thats true or not because i haven't seen much game film. A couple of draftniks have commented that he has the frame and mentality to shift inside and play strong safety.
This is pure speculation at this early stage but with his size and Finnegan and Fletcher already at corner it doesnt seem *that* crazy to imagine a move. Darian Stewart played well last year but perhaps there is a plan for replacing Mikell in the back.
Like I said, just some thoughts, I still think the most likely scenario is the Rams are trying to build up their corner depth, especially with Jenkins being a question mark, but perhaps sinking a 2nd and 3rd into corners (after picking up a high priced FA) has a more ambitious goal in mind.Last edited by Holt Your Horses; -04-29-2012 at 11:19 AM.

Fisher noted in a press conference that he is to stay at corner. He mentioned he wanted to solidify the position and believes he has done so with the two picks.

Re: Trumaine Johnson what does his future hold?
Teams are definably drafting to counter moves of the teams in their own division and looking at the whiners and the Cards, it does not take long to see they both have a ton of talent at WR. We need to match up.
It did not hurt us to add a couple of big fast receivers of our own!
