Tuesday night 12!
What do you think happens with Oj Atogwe?
Long term deal.
1 year 7 mill deal.
Free Agent.
Personally, I hope he gets a long term deal, but anything can happen.

Re: Tuesday night 12!
Someone needs to get smart and pay him. It's an uncapped year and 7 mill isn't going to break a team that makes 265 mil a year.

Re: Tuesday night 12!
Bradford is going to have a rough start. We will need OJ to get the ball back for us.

Re: Tuesday night 12!
I love OJ. He is such a beast! I love the idea of having him comeback and still be the last man on our Defense to be beat. His ballhawk ability is unbelievable. He forces so many fumbles, gets interceptions, can cover well, good against the run, tremendous reads, and best of all plays with his heart and head. We need more players like him.

Re: Tuesday night 12!
That was pretty funny.

I don't want to overrate him or anything, but he is great. At times when the rams Defense couldn't do much against a team Atogwe would come up with a play and give our offense the ball again.
That's the main reason hes a special player. He gets the ball into our offense's hands. That will help develop Sam into a better player.

Re: Tuesday night 12!
I understand that the two sides of this negotiation have different values of Atogwe's worth. I also understand he hasn't/can't pass a physical right now. What I don't understand is why we can't sign this man right now, even for a one year deal. We are in one of the best positions financially, in the league. We have plenty of room to work with. Atogwe has seemingly proven his worth time and time again. There's no salary cap.
They must know something we don't. Perhaps Atogwe won't sign a one year deal. Perhaps he is asking for too much. Perhaps he doesn't want to sign with St. Louis at all. Perhaps we're trying to pay him in cheeseburgers. I have no idea. I really hope we keep pursing him though. We're not in a position to let players like Atogwe simply walk away.

Re: Tuesday night 12!
If you think about it, if he was on the steelers, colts, or pats defense and still created as many turnovers he would be considered one of the best safeties in the game. Not many players will give us stats like his, pay the man. He is one of my favourite players and he genuinely wants the rams to win, we need that core of Atogwe, Bartell, Long, J-Lau. He adds a veteran presence as well.

i think if he wanted to come back and play for us, a deal would've ben done by now. he probably wants to go join a winning team.
