Turley will start for the Rams in 2005, according to Sean Salisbury
Salisbury said on SportsCenter tonight that he talked to Turley and his agent, and Turley said he loved the Rams organization and wants to be their starter in 2005.
Take it with a grain of salt.

My prediction:
Turley will never be a starting RT for any NFL team ever again. He'll retire and become a permanent fixture on "The Best Damn Sports Show" or some other smack-based program.
That or a roadie for Metalica.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Like him or hate him, if he's anywhere near 100% he's a huge improvement over our practice squad caliber starters. Add to that his salary and you've gotta be pulling for him to come back.

Sorry, but if the things I am hearing are true (2 mins ago on JT the Brick), if Turley threatened Martz life, he won't see another uniform in the league...
Not saying that there haven't been times where I haven't said something similar, but I don't know the coach. I don't see another franchise touching him. This space for rent...

Raiders?I don't see another franchise touching him.
On a side note. I'd be extremely happy if Turley can return and play as well as he's capable. That's one less position we have to address in the offseason.

Man, I sure would like to know exactly what went on in that office. I've heard everything from Turley went crazy and threatened Martz...all the way to Martz went crazy on Turley and called security for nothing. I don't know what to believe, but I would loved to have been a fly on the wall.

Well, Latrell Sprewell choked his coached and is still going strong in the NBA.
Things are often said in the heat of the moment. Lord knows that Martz seems to be a person that can frustrate you at the drop of a hat. Since we will most likely never know what EXACTLY happened I say we wait and see. Turley is, as stated before, a huge step up from the players that we have had to use this season. Maybe they can work things out, if not I'm sure some team in the league will be more than happy to add them to their OL.

It would have been great to be a fly on the wall during that ah... conversation.
I don't see Turley coming back to play for any team, but that is just my opinion based upon limited information.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I dont know if any of you are from st.louis or watched the news aroudn 12:15 today but you would have saw this. Kyle Turley reportedly threated mike martz's life when martz ask turley if he was trying to recover. Mike Martz and Turley both said that this isnt true.

I caught this interview on "ESPN 4Qtrs" with Bernie M and he was rehashing the incident as if it were true. But then a recent article of his seemed to presume that Hadley's piece was the gospel relative to Rams Park also. So I'm not sure where Mortenson got this.

Well, we know Martz can be a frustrating guy - he's frustrated us on multiple occasions. And we know Turley is a passionate guy who has a problem controlling his emotions at times. This sounds like a situation where the two of them got into an argument and Turley got pretty worked up and might have said in passing, "I'm gonna kill you!" or something like that, and Martz took it to heart and called security. If a guy like Kyle Turley said that to me, I'd probably take it seriously, too. But it sounds like a giant misunderstanding, one that hopefully we'll see cleared up, because we really need a right tackle of Turley's talent.

Re: Turley will start for the Rams in 2005, according to Sean Salisbury
When I heard them talking about Turley loving it in STL, I thought it was more in the context of:
"It's too bad that Martz flipped out, or whatever, because I love it here in St. louis and wanted to come back".
almost more like, if martz hadn't called security on him, he wanted to come back, but now he doesn't.
whatever, time will tell. I'll take him if it helps bulger get more time to throw. The 260 pounds thing though is very concerning.
