Re: Turley will start for the Rams in 2005, according to Sean Salisbury

I would love to have Turley back. He adds a mean streak to this offensive line that they don't have right now. Plus, as everyone has been saying he is better than what we've had this year and we wouldn't have to worry about that position in the draft. Well at least not in the 1st round.

almost more like, if martz hadn't called security on him, he wanted to come back, but now he doesn't.

whatever, time will tell. I'll take him if it helps bulger get more time to throw. The 260 pounds thing though is very concerning.
The Rams sorely need the Turley of a couple of years ago. But a 60 LB weight loss? I thought it was back surgery not tumor removal. Inactivity will turn muscle into fat not weight loss. Turley needs to start his own diet plan if he has found a way to lose that much weight without the benefit of exercise.

sMartz may recognize that the Rams would be better off by shedding Turley's contract and finding a suitable replacement at RT, but to cry for security strikes me as a sign the man is on the verge of an emotional breakdown.

Is there any circumstances uner which we could sign Walter Jones ?

e.g. Turley doesn;t come back, we make the appropriate cuts (Polley, D.Lewis, maybe Pinkett, Robert Thomas, Coady, Aeneas) and restructures (Faulk and Bruce)
