    Turleys back

I wouldnt count on not seeing Turley next season. I really think you all are looking in the wrong direction on the draft. I really see Turley back at tackle giving us great depth on the line. Heath Miller will be the Rams first round coice.

This comes from another message board. I am working on confirming it. Maybe I am just hoping it to be true and that Turley finally got his poop in a group.

It sounds false to me RamWraith. There are misspellings in the "article" and it is too positive to be true.

Let us know what you find out.

It does sound a little suspect.Utterblitz is right, misspellings and not much capitalization.

Sounds like nonsense to me, unless turley is doing additional legal posturing to improve his arbitration position when the rams seek a return of the portion of the signing bonus.

Ah yes, offseason fodder, you've got to love it.

Hey, maybe Turley wrote this, nah, I think he's an ex-NFL player aspiring to become a musician, not a writer.

    Re: Turleys back

This is bogus. Look at how the writer attempted to make it look like an article with the title and author's name, yet the "article" is full of typos and poor grammar (lack of capitalization at the beginning of sentence) which suggests the guy is paraphrasing - if that's the case, why try to make it look like an article with a title, author, and then later a bottom line crediting Len to his employer? Plus, look at the number of consectutive sentences that start with "Turley" - I count four, which is poor journalistic writing.

Furthermore, the facts of the story just seem wrong - Turley has been quoted very recently as saying he's not going to forgive anyone, so why the sudden change of heart? Turley as recently as a week or two ago also said he wants to play defensive end because playing tackle would be too stressful for his back... so what changed?

I can't find any reference to this on ESPN.com, the supposed source, and Len's latest tip sheet does reference Turley, though it's in regard to him wanting to play DE.

I wouldn't waste too much time trying to confirm this, Wraith. It will be an exercise in futility.

OK, first what was the other message board. That will tell us how far to take this.

I suspect, that it wont be very far.

    Re: Turleys back

Oh! So if we draft Brown, Turley will take over for the departed Adam Timmerman at RG. Oh wait...Adam Timmerman is still on the team!

This is the biggest load of B.S. I think I've ever read. Can we delete this post? It's disgraceful to the integrity of the Clan.
