Fact is, Hill can ride a wideout's butt all day long. He's got blazing speed and decent coverage instincts, but he's too small. He has short arms, and he just cannot makes plays ...

He has been a step behind every receiver and he hasn't exactly had to go up against HOF wide outs this year. I don't think Hank Basket, Amani Toomer, Greg Lewis, or Steve Smith get confused with Usain Bolt very often, but yet Hill is playing catch up just to tackle them from behind on most passes. So, I think you can add bad instincts/bad technique to his under tallness....

His confidence is gone. You can tell when he lines up 10 yards off of Amani Toomer to not get beat deep. He gave up 2 big plays against the Eagles and now he's in 'prevent mode' to not lose his job.
