    Typical Rams FA

Are we going to do anything in FA or what? We could have used Samuel, Smith, or Fancea and we have done NOTHING so far. I thought we were going to rebuild, not sit around and do nothing. The only thing we have done is cut Ike and that was a HORRIBLE decision!

I didn't know overpaying every single player in FA helps rebuilds team. The draft is where it's at my friend.

Indeed. An entire DAY has gone by with only one signing. Why haven't we traded for Peyton Manning yet? This organization is going to run itself into the ground!

The good news is that we created lots of cap room to not spend. I am sure glad we saved all that money on isaac bruce, its REALLY helping.

    I agree with GC

My only complaint is that if you're going to release Bruce then you have to have a plan to use that money. Otherwise saving the million or two in cap space doesn't make sense.

The draft is where it's at, if you can grow your picks into great players. Seem's like we have to draft great players otherwise they never develop into anything special. Jackson was special when we got him. Pace was special when we got him. Holt was special when we got him. Carriker was special when we got him. Some guys who have developed under Linehan? Might need some help here..

    Otogwe.
    Ryan (DT)
.... I'm not ready to say Ty Hill because according to where he was drafted he should be better than is. You know not getting beat deep every other week.

God this is depressing. And we all know how good our offensive line is. Bunch of no-name rookies right? Well take a look at how the Patriots offensive line performs with a bunch of no-name former rooks. Now their all pro bowlers and probably overrated because they work so well as a group.

I used to have confidence that we can get a young guy to come in and do some things, but not anymore.

I wouldn't say that Carriker is anything special yet..or that Tye Hill is a disappointment.

GC, I think everyone is still churning with angst with regards to Bruce.

But this is a very average FA class, and it appears as if teams are overpaying for mediocrity. When did Tommy Kelly earn $18 million in bonuses? I'd prefer this team to take the time to wisely invest their money. We made a mistake with Bennett and his huge salary early on last season, and I think this is the classic case of 'once bitten, twice shy'. I think Devaney et. al. really want to be sure where they're putting their money.

Moreover, we're only one day into free agency, so chin up. I'm sure there'll be some signings.

FA has barely begun. We made a play at Faneca now we are moving on. There is still alot FA left for us to do some things. No need to et down so quickly.

Exactly a very average class, so the money we freed up from Bruce we might not have had to do so.

    Sure, I agree with that.

I was responding to the idea that the money we freed up from Bruce had to be used promptly.

I'm always ok with being patient. What I'm worried about is how that money will be used.
