An "Under the Table" Resolution of Spygate II?
Could this happen...?
The Rams, despite being the team most significantly impacted, keep quiet and allow the Spygate II situation to fade away... characterized as a mere fabrication by a disgruntled former employee of the Patriots.
A few months later, the Rams apply for an exception to the cross-ownership rule to allow Stan Kronke to become the majority owner of the team and the league, much to everyone's surprise, summarily approves the move.
Quid pro quo?
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: An "Under the Table" Resolution of Spygate II?
While I love the idea of resolving our ownership issue sooner rather than later, I doubt the NFL would allow this beacause of the precedence it would set. It's easier just to sweep the cheat under the NFL rug.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Re: An "Under the Table" Resolution of Spygate II?
i want the trophy . i want the rams to have the trophy even if they don't want it . if all this crap is true and the NFL doesn't chime in an say ( it will not happen again . ) stuff.
i think the NFL should take away the SB trophy and give it too the team witch did not illegally film the other team at it's practice walk throughs . it should read ; winners by forfeit / default . RAMS 2 patriots 0 .

I wouldn't want it. I want the Pats erased from the books for cheating in that Championship game, nothing less.

Re: An "Under the Table" Resolution of Spygate II?
As much as I would like something to come from Spygate, the realist in me says this is a dead issue. Even with Specter's involvement, this will be a "push" with no resolution beyond what has already been stated by Goodell. Working against the Rams seems to be their second-class status among the NFL elite. They don't have the cache of a NY, Pittsburgh, Chicago or Green Bay and I am not sure Georgia and the move to STL from LA has helped their standing any.

I want New England kicked out of the NFL, the Rams to get the trophy and their SB ring.
