Undrafted Rookies

Anybody have an opinion on the undrafted guys we signed. Roger Allen and Trauwein? what do you think

Only one player was projected to go in the 5th, the rest are no buddy's.

The chargers on the other hand got a few that were projected in the 2 and 3
rounds. The charger fans were giving me a hard time for that at work. But it is
deserved. The Chargers just know how to draft good players.

So, you believe that there were players who should have gone in the 2nd or 3rd round, but were passed over (repeatedly) by every team, only to be picked up by the Chargers, who somehow knew that these players would not be selected?

I dont believe, I know. The key word is "Projected". And im getting that
from every draft mag I have. Lindsy's, Athalon, and so on.

So why did these players NOT get drafted? Could it be that you and the projections you cite to (though you have not named any specific players) might actually not be the best sources of information?

Thats true. Could be. Im just repeating what the mags have people rated.

The fact is all of them only have one player from the rams rated. A LB and
I will get back to u with the name. If you have any draft mags go through it
and you will see.

I know that Darryl Beckwith was signed by the Chargers. He was on my "10 foot pole" list and, apparently, similar lists kept by virtually every team in the league.

Yea, the charger fans were throwing that in my face today. But who
knows, we may have gotten some gyms. Atleast I hope.
