Unofficial 2011 St. Louis Rams schedule
Based on division rotation and pair-rankings against teams from a different intra-division, we should be facing NFC East and AFC North teams next season. I presume the schedule will be:
Our division rivals (obviously)
Philadelphia Eagles
New York Giants
Washington Redskins
Dallas Cowboys
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cleveland Browns
Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Green Bay Packers
New Orleans Saints
This is a much tougher schedule compared to what we had this season. In fact, this schedule should define where we truly are in terms of progression. I won't bother to say any win is an easy win because of how we're capable of beating the Chargers and scaring the Falcons and Saints while losing to the Cardinals in week 1, the Bucs, and the Whiners in week 10.
Anyways, great season guys!!! A solid offseason FA-signings and draft should put us in much greater relevance even with this tougher presumed schedule.

Re: Unofficial 2011 St. Louis Rams schedule
What is this the fourth year in a row with Redskins on the schedule? I am really starting to not like that organization the more times I see them

Re: Unofficial 2011 St. Louis Rams schedule
This schedule isn't as bad as it seems. The NFC West will be even worse next year than it was in 2010. The Redskins and Cowboys are both messes, and the Eagles and Giants are beatable. The Steelers and Ravens are both really good, but Cleveland and Cincinnati are not. The Packers and Saints are also really good, but the Rams will be better next year, too. Looking right now, I'll say we manage 5 wins in the NFC West (dropping 1 road game that we shouldn't), and the rest depends on who we get at home. If we play the Giants or Eagles at home, we'd have a chance. Same with the Steelers, Ravens, Packers, or Saints. We'll beat a couple good teams at home, but we'll drop some road games again. I see us coming out of 2011 as a much better team than in 2010, but only a 2-game improvement in the record. We go 9-7 and win the division.

Re: Unofficial 2011 St. Louis Rams schedule
Its hard to imagine where teams will be a year from now, much less 2 years. I think its a foregone conclusion that next year will be a hold out year and will never exist. So will this schedule go on to 2012 i suppose?

We should be better next year. I guess we will see how we do.

Re: Unofficial 2011 St. Louis Rams schedule
Well I'll bump this seeing that the schedule's been official
By National Football League
The opponents for all 2011 regular-season games have been determined and a complete list of each team's home and away matchups was issued today by the NFL.
The scheduling formula implemented in 2002 with realignment guarantees that all teams play each other on a regular, rotating basis. After the 2008 season, a decision was made to continue with the same rotation in 2011.
Under the formula, every team within a division plays 16 games as follows:
» Home and away against its three division opponents (six games).
» The four teams from another division within its conference on a rotating three-year cycle (four games).
» The four teams from a division in the other conference on a rotating four-year cycle (four games).
» Two intraconference games based on the prior year's standings (two games). These games match a first-place team against the first-place teams in the two same-conference divisions the team is not scheduled to play that season. The second-place, third-place, and fourth-place teams in a conference are matched in the same way each year.
Beginning in 2010, a change was made to how teams are paired in the schedule rotation to ensure that teams playing the AFC and NFC West divisions would not be required to make two west coast trips (e.g. at San Francisco and at Seattle), while other teams in their division had none (e.g. at St. Louis and at Arizona). The pairings of teams are listed in the 2010 NFL Record and Fact Book (pages 16-19).
The official 2011 schedule, with playing dates and times, will be announced in the spring.
NFL Kickoff 2011 Weekend will begin on Thursday night, September 8, and the regular season will conclude on January 1.
Wild Card Weekend will be Saturday and Sunday, January 7-8; Divisional Playoff games on the weekend of January 14-15; and the AFC and NFC Championship Games on Sunday, January 22.
The 2012 Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, January 29.
Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana will be played on Sunday, February 5.

Re: Unofficial 2011 St. Louis Rams schedule
Seems a little odd about the NFC East teams again. Didn't we just play all of them last year? Is this for sure?

I found this on Johnny Road Trip which is right in line with what you came up with Flip...
