The Untouchables
Here is my list of players who should and must be back next year. No, ifs, ands or buts.
Marc Bulger
Torry Holt
Orlando Pace
Isaac Bruce
Kevin Curtis
Sean McDonald
Steven Jackson
Jimmy Kennedy
Ryan Pickett
Tony Hargrove
Pisa Tinoisamoa
Jeff Wilkins
That's the list. Everyone else, in the right circumstance, could be replaced.

I would add Tyoka Jackson. He appears to be elder statesman among the players. But then again, if Tyoka left, I'm sure another would rise to his position. But I'd still call Tyoka untouchable.

I might add Little as well, if he can stay out of jail.

I agree. If Little resolves his legal troubles, he's on this list as well.

Re: The Untouchables
I think Faulk still deserves the Untouchable tag. Its just a matter of the cap hit.
Orlando Pace is only untouchable if he gets real with his cap deal. If not, his ass is gone

Re: The Untouchables
I like Wilkins but I don't know that the dropoff to a replacement would be so great that it woutweighs paying him his high salary. If the Rams are going to be strapped for cash again, it might be conceivable to replace Wilkins.
Anyone know how much he makes? Especially relative to other kickers. I thought he was one of the higher paid kickers. His short kickoffs and not automatic field goal kicking doesn't warrant an oversized contract in my opinion. I just don't remember for sure what his cap number is.

I agree. Faulk needs to stay. Pace's charade has grown old and hurts us in the first few weeks of the season.

Who knows, maybe Jeff does this short kick-offs with purpose. Can you imagine what would happen that he let opposite returners to get full speed before our guys appear on horizont. He can not be replaced. Who would tackle than on special team?

Re: The Untouchables
Amen to that, Faulk is still one of the best and smartest Football players around, not just RB but football player. And I am sick of the Pace thing every year, what I saw from him this year, not just at the beginning but the whole year, I say if he creates any more noise this off-season just get him out, maybe sign and trade or something. It kind of reminds me of another former Ram great who kept asking for more money year after year until the Rams got sick of it and said good-bye, Eric Dickerson.
