These weren't elite DEs that made Long look like Alex Barron. He clearly wasn't ready to play.

Considering how carefully Fisher & co have been treating the other dinged starters, it seemed like an uncharacteristic risk on their part.
And he won't ever be ready to play if all Fisher does with him is let him run around during the week in shorts. Won't be surprised if Long, JL and a few others are the starters that play the most in week 4.

Where did you read that Bruce? The same shefter that last night said the acl was not torn?

Bleacher Report feeds I get on my phone. I hope he is merely speculating.

Despite Rams QB Sam Bradford thinking his ACL was intact from initial testing, there is real concern that it is not and it could be torn.

I just read twitter feed from shefter, it says there is "real concern that it could be torn" as of 21 minutes ago, it doesnt say it is torn and it sounds like a crap report by someone covering his butt from his initial report last night.

Lets wait until the rams announce something.

    Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet

15 hours later, the #Rams and doctors are still trying to ascertain the severity of QB Sam Bradford's knee injury. Doing more tests now.

It's all speculation from pundits. Throwing something at the wall and hoping it sticks. We won't know anything until Fishers presser in about 4 hours at the earliest.

Rams still don't have anything definitive on the condition of QB Sam Bradford's knee. Again, Jeff Fisher addresses the media in three hours.

shhhhhh Schefter is in the locker room where Fisher can't see him and Schefter knows all! /end sarcasm

Yeah just waiting at this point for Fishers press conference. I hope he comes out and starts with something along the lines of "I'd like to introduce you to the Rams starting QB for 2014" then Sam walks out.

It was the left knee that was repaired, not the right knee. That's the concern.

Growing concerns that Sam re-tore his ACL. Schefter and Jim Thomas are saying it. Who knows at this point, we're all holding out breath and waiting for this presser!

Same thing happened to me - twice so far! NFL network really screwed their programming up this time. Tried to call the network, but they take weekends off .. Expletive idiots !!!

Anyone know if Bradford's off-season surgery was on the same knee he injured against the Browns?
