I agree, there is also Cousins.

But I think we should stick with what we have and somehow hope that our running game and D can keep us in the game. But right now I have to admit that it is a long shot. By the way Shaun Hill have had 16 pass attempts in meaning full games the last 3 years

    Re: Bradford Injures Left Knee

It's the same knee he injured last year when he got tackled by mike mitchell

link to vid : Tempers flare as St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford leaves game with injury

i'm guessing that knee is a lot weaker, so it didn't take much to tear it again. sigh..

I'm sure we all appreciate the up-beat emotions, but Shaun Hill is so good you can't even spell his name correctly

"Incomplete"??? LOL, this is the real world, he's now officially a bust. To rival the all time great busts in history.

I wanted as much as anyone to see us do well this year with our still young investment, Sam Bradford. But he's never proven anything. He's never looked like a leader on or off the field. He's been a non factor in discussions about good QB's in the league the last 4 years. Never passed the "eye test". I don't even know anything about him.. does he have a girlfriend? The guy didn't amount to anything, and now that he's officially done, I'm pi$$ed off about it.

#1 overall pick + 50 Million dollars guaranteed + Mediocre play + Injury prone + career over = BUST.

"Hurting for my friend, teammate Sam because we know the work he puts in everyday and the caliber of person he is. Tough. We got your back 8."

I think it's safe to say the report is accurate.

    Re: Mortensen: Bradford TORE ACL

As long as the defense is as advertised and Zac Stacy/Bennie Cunningham and the of our backs can run with our newly built O-line we will be fine

This is a team that finished 4-5 with Kellen Clemons behind center...As long as Hill doesnt throw to the other team (he has a good TD-INT ratio) we will be fine...

Bradford's future is up in the air but as for this season it is not OVER!!! we still have a good team

I don't put the "bust" label on players who had their careers derailed by injury.

Wow this is really Harsh... I too am disgusted my friend. Really wanted to believe in Sam. The only positive I can think of right now is at least he was in place for us to rip off Washington for all those picks. We wouldn't of been able to rebuild with the quality players we received in that deal....

Bradford won't be back in a Rams uniform. In fact I'll bet he's done. The only silver lining is that the Rams won't have to do a complete rebuild next season. They only have to replace one guy.

    Re: Mortensen: Bradford TORE ACL

I still really believe that Sam Bradford was going to have a superb season this year.

I wouldn't call him a bust, he wasn't awful. He wasn't great either. He's super young and only had two full seasons, still plenty to learn. He's never had the greatest of offenses to work with until recently. We were continuing to add piece after piece.... but whatever...it's pretty much over anyway.
