UPDATED: Have the Rams sold out for this Sunday?
I've spent the last hour trying to find out if the Rams game is sold out.
The last I heard was that they still had 8,000 tickets to sell to meet the NFL blackout rules (this was Monday evening).
If anyone can give me the answer I would really appreciate it.
This is a game that I REALLY want to see.
Thanks in advance.

From the PD today:
The deadline to meet the NFL sellout requirement is noon today. With several thousand tickets remaining, the Rams could seek a 24-hour extension, as they did last week before avoiding a local-television blackout for the game against Washington.

Well crap, I was hoping for better news than that.
Hopefully they got the extension and hopefully it will be televised.
If not, I guess I'll start searching the internet for a good site.
I do appreciate the replies though.

Re: Have the Rams sold out for this Sunday?
Better at least be near sold out so that we can bring home field advantage momentum against the Seahags, something they're really good at in Qwest Field.

Re: Have the Rams sold out for this Sunday?
That will certainly be a key to this game. I'll admit that I was fairly down on the Rams chances last week. However, that was the most energized crowd that I've experienced in the dome over the last three years.
If the same level of fans are there this week, I think we have a good chance to win. That includes the fact that Seattle always seems to have the Rams number. It would only be perfect for Brown to kick the winning field goal.

Looks like the game will be televised locally:
Updated: Rams-Seahawks to be televised locally
By JIM THOMAS
Friday, October 1, 2010
The Rams-Seahawks game at noon Sunday will be televised locally on KTVI (Channel 2) after the team met the NFL's ticket-sales requirements by today's deadline to avoid being blacked out.
A late push by corporate sales helped get the team over the limit, specifically Express Scripts, Energizer, Build-A-Bear and KTVI. Limited tickets remain available and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, StLouisRams.com, or by calling (314) RAMS-TIX.
This will be the third straight home game to avoid being blacked out this season, thanks in part to the arrival of new quarterback Sam Bradford and a win last week against Washington.
The Rams, who only had one victory in 2009, were blacked out in their final three home games last season, and have had nine blackouts since the move to St. Louis in 1995.

Re: Have the Rams sold out for this Sunday?
...and don't forget the other 8 games that won't be aired. even if the rams were in la and i could go to all the home games, i'd still want the sunday ticket for the road games. they never play Rams games in CA. i remember when they played a chicago vs detroit game which had zero playoff impact, instead of a Rams vs Seahawks which was going to decide a wildcard spot.
so ya. gettin sunday ticket no matter where the Rams set up shop.
