Vegas' Take...
The Cowboys opened at -9.5, and (no surprise) immediately went to -10.5 all over town.
Pretty sure that was before the news about SB's ankle.
Today, in 7 Casinos, there is one at -11, one at -13.5, and the rest at -13.
The reason I mention this is that, even given the fact that the public loves (betting) the Boys, this is a VERY significant line move, and don't kid yourself - the guys setting these lines have some good info sources. That's telling me the ankle's worse than the Rams are letting on, and they're figurinh AJ's starting.
Assuming this - is this really such a bad thing?
Let's face it (on any given Sunday notwithstanding), odds are the Rams lose to the Boys and the Saints, and I'd sure hate to rush SB back too soon - not to mention, given the protection problems, it's not a bad idea to give AJ some playing time, especially with the new receivers, Clayton and Lloyd. And find out what the Rams actually have in Feeley.
That said, I hope his ankle's OK and he plays, because despite everything, there was a lot I liked watching Sunday's game, and with more experience at corner and a WR injection, the Rams have a shot in Dallas, imo.Last edited by VegasRam; -10-18-2011 at 03:51 PM.

Re: Vegas' Take...
My question is is how about if AJ sparks our team and we win? Then again in NO? Our offense shores up do we take AJ our and put the kid in there or do we keep AJ in since he has the hott hand? Probably wishing to much by things like this happen all the time in the NFL.

I seriously doubt AJ is gonna light it up, but if he does you still go with Bradford once he's healthy. He needs the experience too much to not be out there.

Re: Vegas' Take...
I was impressed with AJ last year leading our offense in the preseason until he got hurt and moved to second string. It's possible, although I dont like the odds of it! lol

Re: Vegas' Take...
I wonder if there could be any slight possibility that SB's ankle isn't too serious and/or he will play through any kind of pain on Sunday. Not saying Feeley doesnt have a chance, I just really think Bradford is one spark away from lighting it up.

Re: Vegas' Take...
I agree as well (been a lot of that tonight lol) , Odds makers do make mistakes BUT not often lol
If its not bad enough to keep he out remember its on the the leg he does not use to put pressure to throw the ball Just saying
, If does come down to to AJ I think we still have the ability to make it happen imo
"Remember its the love for the game ! and our Rams !"

Re: Vegas' Take...
If Bradford plays we have a chance at an upset. A slim chance but still a chance. If Feeley plays bet the house on the COWBOYS!

Re: Vegas' Take...
Two weeks in a row the Rams line looks like a college line. If it jumped from 10.5 to 13 that means that some serious bucks are being put down on Dallas. This game could be a huge blowout regardless of who the Rams QB is.

It's at 12 today - expect it to drop again when (if) Bradford startrs practicing again.
