Vermeil for GM

this guy knows how to rebuild a franchise the problem is he won't want to do it for long. I say he brings along Marshal Faulk as his apprentice so in 2-4 years when Vermeil calls it quits Marshall finishes off the rebuilding job Vermeil starts.

I keep seeing various posts about Marshall expressing interest in some sort of non-player capacity for the Rams.

While I loved him here as a Ram, what qualifies him to be in a GMish-type role?

I understand having Vermeil mentor him, but without Vermeil--- how does Marchal bring anything to the table as far as player personel and management decisions?
