View From The Black Hole
Great time, great win. Had a blast hanging out with bigredman and Ramfan_Til_I_Die, both great guys.
Started out today at the BART station sporting my Ike jersey and if looks could kill, I would be dead! Lots of pointing, whispering and head shaking, which I really didn't understand. One guy said he wanted to trip me as I walked by, but at least he said it with a smile.
The stadium was pretty empty in the upper sections, but the Faider fans were as rabid as ever. Unlike other road games I've been to this year, there were very few Ram fans, very few. The game started and just when I thought things were cool, midway through the first quarter a Ram fan and Faider fan had each other by the throats while security stood by and watched. The police broke them up and then just walked away. No blood, no foul I guess.
The worst part of the game was having to temper my excitement. I really wanted to whoop it up, but after seeing several confrontations, I didn't want the hassel. Besides, I was the guest of a Faider season ticket holder and he was taking enough flak for sitting next to a guy with an Isaac Bruce jersey on.
There were some rather funny moments during the game though. One guy was yelling that Matt Turk sucked and that's why they got rid of him, so Turk answered by kicking a 74 yarder. Late in the game, another guy screamed "number one pick", which gave me the impression that they were finally broken. And last but not least, I caught sight of a Faider fan walking down the aisle with a shirt that said "F*** All Raider Haters". I kid you not! How funny is that??
Overall great time. Very glad I decided to go.

The faider fans were a bunch of beat down cowards. I got way more crap at the whiner game. Faider Fans = Over-Hyped.

Re: View From The Black Hole
Very cool, when you guys left your seats you should have held your hands way up high making a big 0 out of them, holding it up til you got to wherever it was you were going after the game. Although I'm sure that would have gotten bad results, especially since the Raider fans have experienced two previous shutouts this year.

The way I heard it, BRM had 3 chili-cheese dogs and then became extremely "passive."
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Gee RTID, care to explain this to everyone??
Then again, maybe you shouldn't!
I'm afraid for the most part Dez, it's true. Not something I'm proud of. I had a few moments, but certainly not my usual loud mouthed, obnoxious, drunken rebel rouser mentality. Despite being a good boy, I did notice a few peanuts being flung in my direction, but the funny thing is they came closer to hitting my Faider friend so I assumed it was Aaron Brooks doing the throwing.

Re: View From The Black Hole
I live in the Bay area and go see the Rams play in an Oakland bar. I really wanted to go to the game, but I have to admit, I was a little concerned. You hear so many bad things.
So, instead I was at the bar (game was blacked out here in the Bay) and I couldn't hold my excitement in after we recovered a fumble. I clapped a few times and some dude didnt take that very well. After some yelling in my direction, and me smiling back (I thought he was kidding at first) it ended with me getting called a "cracker". That was memorable. haha
All in all, the people in Oakland and the Raider fans that I'm exposed to every week are good people. I just was afraid to go to an actual game.
