Views from the Bash

Here are some post Bash thoughts...

1. I won't add yet another recap of the game. There are only so many ways you can say "missed opportunities."

2. I believe one day I will say that I attended Sam Bradford's first game and it will be a point of pride.

3. Mark Clayton may not be a superstar, but he was a steal.

4. Jake's Steaks... new ownership: the steaks are still good, but NO TOASTED RAVS!!!!

5. We had a small group this year. Hope next year the turnout will be better.

6. Those who attended, though, had a great time!

7. Big Daddy's... great people watching, but man... I think I was 20 years older than 90% of the people there.

8. The atmosphere at the game was good. Very few red jerseys (unlike last year's Packers game which almost seemed like a neutral field).

9. The Lumiere Hotel and Casino. As the youngsters would say... meh.

10. The Burger Bar makes a good (though overpriced) burger, though.

11. Nice to see Barry at the dinner and then at the game.

12. I don't know if Bradford will be worth $50 million, but he's already making money for the team (#8 jerseys, attendance at the game).

13. Most unexpected Bradford stat: 1 fumble recovery (and not his own fumble).

14. Most troubling Bradford stat: 55 passes.

15. I wonder if Clifton Ryan ever said "I've always wanted to be like Leon Lett."

16. Despite the dropped interception, I agree that Bartell had a great game.

17. Sorry if those trivia questions at the raffle were too hard!

18. I think I saw Armen Dacity and BernieM at the game.

19. Dez, Randy, Kyle, Julian, Steve, Liz, Jack, Mike... all of you were missed. You better get to St. Louis for next year's Bash!

20. Man, it would suck if there were a lockout next year.

Those trivia questions were hard.

I was reading about the lockout this morning. Ridiculous that they are fighting over more money and more games. Do they really think the fans can afford to spend more on the NFL?

It was good to see so many rams fans in the dome this time and to hear them cheer for the team.

I always say this, but give me a couple of years and I'll be there! Need to surpass that legal drinking age of yours first ;)

Actually, come to think of it, I'll have graduated University in Australia before I'd be allowed to have a beer in the US.

Planning to be there next year, I owe the wonderfully hospitable Ramgram and family a good meal.

We have ridiculous drinking ages here in the US and lots of people drinking out of control here. I don't think the drinking age limits are doing what they wanted.

Glad you guys had a great time even with the Rams loss.

I'm planning on going next year, I'm no longer a student so hopefully can save up some money and make the trip.

I hate that I missed it. And Utter was there?! Dang, I've always wanted to meet her.

I may adventure across next year. Its a good time to start saving, and it would be a great setting for my first rams game!

Fingers crossed the rams come to london soon, that would be a much cheaper trip for me!lol.
