Re: Waiting on Bradford
Actually, no, not at all. It's a fact based statement. If the whiners draft like they did last year......(a total of 7 games played among their entire class; contrasted with the 121 the Rams got from their rookies).....then I don't care how many draft choices they have.

Re: Waiting on Bradford
What was this thread about again?
Oh, right. Anyway, the ***** did have the luxury of more depth than we did but still, they probably are wondering what could have been with some of those picks.

Re: Waiting on Bradford
The current CBA prevents re-negotiation of rookie contracts until after the 3rd year. I'm not sure if that applies to Bradford because he signed before the current CBA, but if that does extend over previous rookie contracts, the Rams couldn't seek re-negotiation til the new league year starts, as Bradford would still technically be in his 3rd year.

Re: Waiting on Bradford
I'm not trying to minimize the importance of the cap, but It seems to me that the Rams showed they are willing to spend to be successful. Stan Kroenke- one of the wealthiest owners in all of sports- is not going to pinch pennies and compromise huge portions of our football team for fear of going over the cap. This notion expressed by some fans that we're somehow completely unable to afford quality talent to upgrade our football team because of Sam Bradford's contract is nonsense. If and when the time comes where it is feasible to re-work things contractually, I'm sure both parties will sit down.
As for the ****** draft picks, I don't worry about what other teams do- I worry about what WE do. Having extra picks is great, but they still must accurately evaluate talent and draft wisely.

Re: Waiting on Bradford
If Sam Bradford restrucutres his contract does he have to give up his ping pong table?

Re: Waiting on Bradford
Things could always be worse, the Rams could have signed Bradford to the same contract that Baltimore just signed Joe Flacco too... that contract will kill their cap for the next 6 years (well, unless he is cut before then).

I didn't read this whole thread so someone probably addressed it.
I love how people think tom brady is sacrificing when with this restructure he almost doubled his guranteed $$.The Kroenke-Snead-Fisher-Bradford Era
