Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
This year I have yet to see an opposing RB run roughshoud through the secondary. With the maturity of our DB's this defense is the glue to what the Rams should do next year.
I wonder if that computer dude who asks you to try his product and if you don't learn you'll get ten bucks has a program for Linehan to help with the offense?

Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
The defensive numbers in the second half of games has been bad. I would like to see a full game from both the players and coach for once.

Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
Linehans offensive scheme is killing our D, plain and simple. We get good field position and the O gives the ball back!!...Thats flattening

Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
Do you not realize, our offense continues to put or defense in bad situations, but some how our defense usually comes out on top? Can you not see the fact that we give our offense many chances to put the game away, but they don't?
Our D is constantly put in a bad spot, eventually they're going to break if our offense doesn't put points up on the board.Last edited by IzzyHigh1212; -11-27-2007 at 12:51 AM.

Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
Lest we get too excited lets not forget that we have hardly been playing the Colts and Pats these last few weeks. Some of the improvement comes from the fact that we're not playing very good teams.

Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
Its not crap. Yes, our defense is clearly better. But some of it is clearly related to the fact that we're playing one of the weakest schedules in the NFL. Its kind of like last season when everyone declared our offensive line problems fixed after its play improved against some of the weakest defensive lines in the game (with the obvious exception of Minnesota). It doesn't mean there hasn't been improvement, but lets not pretend we've been stopping Peyton Manning and Tom Brady either.

Re: Wanna see defensive improvement?
Okay, so what you're saying is that we're finally competetive against crappy teams, but still really can't compete with the good ones. If that's what you're using as your gauge for improvement, I'll give you that. We are certainly playing better against lower level teams than we have in the past couple of years. Do I think that Haslett is a genius and has brought this team leaps and bounds in his two seasons? No, I don't see that at all.
