Wanted: Veteran players

I know we are rebuilding, but many members have stressed that we are too young. I think we can all see that now.

We are very undisciplined, and it's showing in all the wrong places.

Our receiver corps is the youngest in the league, and clearly we can see that.


However, on the plus side, look at our defensive line and linebackers. Both have a veteran presence on those units, and they happen to be our most solid. The young D Line are learning under James Hall and Leonard Little.

Our linebacker corps learned from Chris Draft and continue to learn under Will Witherspoon.

I love the fact that we are rebuilding, but there are certain spots on this team that needs a veteran player who has been there, done that.

Ya someone like Amani Toomer comes to mind to have a stop gap player who can teach the young receivers something... Bruce learned from Ellard and Holt learned from Bruce...
