We haven't picked up any players yet..
Is it just me but... We haven't picked up any players yet and it still feels like the best off-season since we won the Superbowl
Wow, what a difference a good solid coaching staff makes.
Truth be told, we were all excited about Spags & Billy D era. But you have to agree, that was an excitement of potential. This here is higher excitement of trust in Fishers potential!

Re: We haven't picked up any players yet..
It does "feel" a little different, but I will let you know after Free Agency and the Draft.....
We usually feel like a small market baseball team in free agency ...even though there is a salary cap....
and over the last 8 years we seem to draft to conservatively -- especially in rounds 3 -6 ...so that will be a big difference ...
We have often left impact players on the board for "need" guys...and that has really hurt our franchise...
This off-season will set the tone for the new season and for training camp....
looking forward to it. !

I have no doubt that Fisher is going to do a bang up job. He will bring in players that otherwise wouldn't be interested in playing for our RAMS.
This is going to be a very exciting offseason.....!!!!!

I'm always excited in the off season because its a fresh start, but I will admit this one feels even better than the last couple years. You can see how serious we are into turning things around; cleaning house and rebuilding with expierienced coaches. And we just got a good hire in the GM spot. All we need to see is how the draft in April goes but I'm really excited.

Well the brain-trust is mostly assembled, they will meet and discuss their options, needs, wants and desires...it will not be long till we all know who the Rams will keep, acquire, or cut. Am sure the first real acquistion will have the forum buzzing. All I am looking forward to the free-agancy prior to the draft--post draft free-agency of late has had me feeling rather flat and disappointed

Don't forget, we brought in that CFL o-lineman, but found medical issues so he's been carted back to Canada. There's probably more than we dream going on behind the scenes, and this regime is actively looking.

The title of your thread speaks volumes.
Good feelings aside, we are going to need players.
All the playmaking players we can get!

In the last five years we have done nothing but waste money on free agents. I see one major free agent and the rest drafting.
