We are one of the best teams in the NFL, here is why we are not considered "dominate"

After watching all the games we have won there are 3 reasons why we are not blowing out the teams we should have

1- We have a serious lack of pass rush, teams are finally figuring out that if they double team little, then we cant get to the QB, other than little we have no good pass rush. PERIOD.

2- Our redzone offense is horrible, if we score TD's, we blow out teams easily

3- Our run defense is not that good, we should not have let green bays backups run on us like that

And the fact of the matter is We are still winning, Point blank, if we can struggle like this and still win, then we are a d**n good team.

Luckly all these problems can and will be fixed.:r

Re: We are one of the best teams in the NFL,

The lack of a pass rush is going to hurt us if we don't fix it before the seattle game cause those recievers and matt hasselbum are going to have a field day in our secondary if we don't make him feel uncomfortable behind center and as for our redzone ofense I think it is a problem with the playcalling linehan is overthinking the plays in the redzone and when you overthink anything it is bad
    Torry Holt Dont play that

I don't know if it's Linehan "overthinking", or just "feeling out" his team. Remember, Linehan is just beginning to learn what this team is capable of. He's never had weapons like this at his disposal before, at least, not this many on the same team at the same time before. He's like a kid in a candy shop, I think. He'll figure it out before long. He's beginning to get Klop involved more in the passing game, and Jackson is getting more throws. Also, he's starting to use Curtis and McDonald more in 4 receiver sets. He's starting to understand what works with these guys, and what doesn't. A relapse of poor execution in the RZ yesterday doesn't mean we've "lost it" since the Lions game.

You're correct about the lack of a pass rush. We're a player or two away from having a front four that can put pressure on the QB without the aid of the blitz. In the meantime, Haslett is using a lot of zone D and dropping people back to help in the pass coverage and we're getting away with it against the teams that we're played. Hopefully Haslett, like Linehan, will figure it out before we get to the meat or our schedule.
