We should give Fisher a new offer.
Screw Fisher. I am tired of his BS game. Its easy to see hes not interested. Why don't we go after a guy that is interested in turning around this team and making it his own??
I say lets hire Chud or Horton, then send fisher a new offer. Offer Fisher to be our defensive coordinator at 1.5mil per year. Hopefully that gets him the message.
For real though, I am not interested in Fisher. Do we really want a coach, that really is just doing it for the money and power now? He isn't excited in just coaching and making this team his own? So whats the point!
Re: We should give Fisher a new offer.
I don't blame him for taking his time with a life changing decision.
Whatever will be will be....
Re: We should give Fisher a new offer.
No question that is a life changing decision. I also know it takes a lot of time to build the power structure and tie up all lose ends on a deal like this. However, I am just not sold on a coach that isn't sold on coaching our team!
Re: We should give Fisher a new offer.
Yup...On Twitter, ESPN's Ross Tucker suggested Miami and St. Louis moving on from Fisher because "he's clearly not sold on either place."
I completely agree with Ross. Have Kevin call his dad and say "Dad, I'll make Jeffs decision a little easier, we are going a different direction." Then inform Miami, so Fisher loses all leverage.

I heard the same thing from Tucker this morning on the NFL talk show he does with Bob Pappa. I kind of agree with Tucker in that he questions Fishers stalling.
You know what though, once Fisher has made his decision and had his press cenference all will be forgot and the FISHER maddness will be supported by whoever the fan base is.

How about we throw in a autographed football by mike jones.

Lol thanks that's a honor. I was thinking the football. Or.... a patch of grass that's a yard long. That way he knows he will always have the extra yard he needed.
He probably doesn't want to sign with us because he will have nightmares and flashbacks when we wear our throwback uniforms.
Re: We should give Fisher a new offer.
I think hes taking long because he is interested. I mean, the Dolphins offer, it really cant get better than that. Why would Fisher be waiting? If we offered what the Dolphins offered, he'd be here in a heartbeat and we all know it. Stan is probably offering him $5mill flat and no VP power.
