We still lead the league

we still lead the league IN POINTS ALLOWED

Larry Marmie should get a good realtor and look for the Rams to make wholesale changes on Defense.

This is what was said after the 2000 Season and we're giving up more points per game (well over 30) than that Defense did:

Mike Martz in 2001:
-----------------
Forgive Martz for being defensive, because last year's team certainly wasn't. St. Louis surrendered 471 points (28 more than the next-worst team), gave up 29.4 per game and held just one opponent under 20. In the off-season Martz got out his sling blade and hacked at the wreckage of the previous season. The defense will have as many as eight new starters, along with three new coaches.

Re: We still lead the league

now dont blame the defense on all of this... look at the field position that the colts had though out most of the game. all of them freakin' turnovers....

Re: We still lead the league

That's true SM1984, turnovers were the killer tonight. I think Steven Jackson might have gotten a little too excited on that fumble.

Bulger's INT was just a bad, bad pass and he paid dearly for it! :1: Not only by injuring his shoulder but by bring in a replacement QB that was totally cold, rusty and out of it. Two quick INT's!

¡Ay-ay-ay!

Re: We still lead the league

So, it's a coincidence that after 6 games we're giving up
OVER 32 points per game.

I heard the Colt's Center say "we can run on them" and then they proceeded to shove it down our throats.

32 ppg.

Marmie, thanks for the awful memories. Ok, good bye. It just did not pan out.

:angryram: Now, who are we bringing in -- and when?

Re: We still lead the league

How about the Colt's Defense line coach John Teerlinck, He's 54, is in his 17th season as an NFL coach?? I know he can coach Defensive Lines.

The season before Larry Marmie, we allowed 21 points per games during the season.

I'm just pissed. Holt, Bulger, Curtis, Pace, Jackson, Faulk, Bruce..

Part of the challenge of rebuilding is holding on to your nucleus.
