Besides, Clayton is the best blocking WR in the league, so he should offer plenty of protection for Bradford.
Hines Ward might not agree ..

I just can't stand it when a organization pays a guys 50 million dollars but wont spend a couple million to get a quality wide WR to help protect him.

If week 6 comes and Bradford is injured I will blame this organization and the management of this team.

Stan needs to pry his old hands off his pocket book and write a few checks.
I totally agree, 1980. So which $2-million receiver willing to sign with the Rams were you thinking about?

Good thing we pulled the trigger on that trade of a 6th rounder for Mark Clayton instead of that stupid 2nd rounder for Marc Clayton. Good move DeSpags!

You must be new to football. I suggest you start researching before you post on this forum.

To the OP... you obviously don't know football.

Clayton is much better than you give him credit for.

To the OP... thank you for making me laugh so hard that water came out my nose. Also, I hate you, for making me laugh so hard that water came out my nose.

Please, before you post again, can you make sure that you A. know what you're talking about, B. spell players' names correctly, C. make sure you get your facts straight, and D. not make water come out my nose!
    I believe!

Actually when you look at the numbers, his durability, and his blocking skills...not to mention his ability to beat press coverage & create seperation, you could argue that he is a better player than Donnie especially at this point in his career. I am not mad at this move at all.

I think some guys may be getting confused between Michael Clayton and Mark Clayton. Mark is the guy the Rams just traded for, who is quite a deep threat. Michael is the guy the Bucs recently cut, who had one great season and then disappeared. I believe it is actually Michael that is considered a great blocking WR.

However, i would also point out that, second to Hines Ward, i would say Michael Jenkins of the Falcons is the best blocking WR in the NFL.

No, if you look at the Ravens games, Mark does a wonderful job run blocking.

To say that Clayton will be the reason Bradford get hurt is laughable, but, IMO I can see your point of they didn't do everything to give this guy the opportunity to succeed.

They know what they are doing so I put my faith in them (Wasn't there a poll about this?). The trade to get Clayton was not a bad trade, we gave up nothing for him, so it is worth a chance because he will be better then any sixth round draft pick WR.
