We whine when...
we can't stop any one. We whine when we can. We whine when we are aggressive. We whine when we are conservative. We whine when we can't score all the time. We whine when we do. We whine when we call time outs. whine when we do. We whine when Marc throws for 400 yards and we whine when he doesn't. (this list could go on and on and on...)
What am I missing here? Did we lose against a playoff caliber team?

its just a select few of people, we don't ALL do that much whining. Where are you getting this from exactly?

Re: We whine when...
IMO, as a group, football fans are fickle about their team. It's the same way on the Niners board. And the Eagles board. And it isn't as many as it seems, it's just that some whine so loud as to drown out the more level headed fans.

I didn't buy him as a quarterback. He's just so stiff, especially when he drops back to pass. Really stiff. He reminds me of Kurt Warner.

Re: We whine when...
I dont like the whining myself. Issues need to be addressed in a very cautious manor right now in my opinion. Its all right to say what went wrong but there has to be a positive spin on it all. I mean we won and the 2 things that have plagued our fine team for years appear to have been improved on. Special teams looked great and so did the defense man, oh man so did the defense.I think the offense will be okay I think Linehan should and has taken most the blame for the offense not exactly being stellar. I love the fact that he stepped up and admitted the problems with the offensive playcalling. I respect him for that.Denver is a great team and we pounded them I am very proud of our Rams right now.
I agree with that as well as a whole us fans are being supportive.its just a select few of people, we don't ALL do that much whining. Where are you getting this from exactly?LET'S GO DODGERS

Re: We whine when...
No whining from me. Our Defense dominated the whole game. Our offense moved the ball succesfully but sputtered in the Endzone. Offense is the hardest system to have to learn when you go to a new team. And our whole starting offense had to learn Linehans. In a few games they'll catch on. But a good thing about the offense ... Bulger didn't make ANY mistakes.

Re: We whine when...
No whining here, either.
The D looked great. Special teams didn't look bad at all.
The offense looked conservative. Considering the defense of Denver, conservative was a very wise choice.
All that matters is we beat a team which is probably on the way to the playoffs.
I hope that is a good omen!Super Bowl Champions 2013!

Looks like seven years to me guys.
Seven years of Martz's Offensive system, but we're expected to be perfect in Linehan's after 3 months. What a bunch of maroons. I know we don't attack anyone on the board, and I will abide by and respect that. But I won't read any (of their) subsequent posts.
Did anyone see what I consider an almost PERFECT game from our special teams yesterday? I expected every other thread to be about our new Tony Horne. What a stud, and I may have missed it, but I've seen no reference to Reed in any posts. KO return average 21.9, as in starting at the yard line. Punt return average 1.5 - (not that we did that great). that's not even mentioning Wilkins and Matt (the Shakesperian) Turk.
We covered, tackled and blocked.
Anyway, thanks for starting this Wraith. As far as the sputtering O, it happens. It's an aberration, period, although I was surprised at no throws to the Tight End.
Whew! Feel much better, thanks for asking.Last edited by VegasRam; -09-11-2006 at 05:49 PM.

Re: We whine when...
No whining here...we kicked the crap outta the Broncos, and this is a great week to be a Rams fan. No matter what the media is saying about Plummer giving the game away, we know it was the Rams that made him play that way. They are just trying to stir up QB controversy and make it seem like Plummer's fault. Had that been Peyton Manning back there last night it wouldn't have mattered....the Rams D just played that damn good.

Re: We whine when...
It's not whining when the obvious is stated. Red Zone offensive play calls were bad. We have the power to run the ball...........
