We will destroy the Titans
I believe our D-line will be all over McNair in this game and leave that offense with no options. If we can take Drew Bennett out of the game and just contain the ground game our offense should take over. Steven Jackson should be able to get some good yards against Tennessee's defense even though Jamal Lewis couldn't. The reason for this is that with our potent passing game they won't be able to put 8 in the box. Look for a big game for Jackson and the Rams to roll in this one.

Re: We will destroy the Titans
Marc Bulger should feast on the weak cornerbacks on the Titans. Then again I said the same thing about Plummer and Spencer on the *****.

Re: We will destroy the Titans
That's what we said about the whiners. If the D keeps going strong, the ST's give up less than 14 points and the offense finally clicks, then this game should end up being a comfortable W.
Being at the Ed will certainly help matters

Opening home game after 2 on the road, The RAMS should be pumped. This could look like that preseason game vs the LIONS. Blowout is very possible.
JUST DO IT RAMS

I still see us winning but I do agree with you while our LB's have really improved against the run they still have problems with short passes we are vulnerable to them and the yards after the catch.

Welcome to ClanRam, RDU! :football: Truly the best. Enjoy...
SB XXXIV: I remember McNair just barely escaping the sure grip of two of our DL and connecting with Dyson (?) before the gran finale. That should have been a great sack!
Let's make sure we get them this Sunday at home.Last edited by RealRam; -09-22-2005 at 12:57 AM.

Re: We will destroy the Titans
The entire Norm Chow offense is built around getting the ball out of the backfield quickly. You'll see a lot of passes to the RBs and TEs. The Rams LBs will get a lot of action on Sunday.
The Titans WRs are young. We have Drew Bennett who is hobbled with a heel bruise but should play. Tyrone Calico is the #2 but is coming off an ACL and isn't close to 100%. Then we have two rookies in Brandon Jones (Oklahoma) and Courtney Roby (Indiana). Jones actually started as the #2 last week and has been a pleasant surprise. Roby is fast and the kickoff returner. But he is hobbled as well with a toe injury and questionable. If he can't go, another rookie, Roydell Williams (Tulane) may see some action.
Thing with the Titans this year is the ball gets spread around. Our top receiver in the game may have five catches. I think nine different players had a reception last week.
Guy to watch out for is Ben Troupe. He was a big McNair target in game one.

Re: We will destroy the Titans
Rams D had trouble all last year with TE's. This year looks different but we haven't really gone up against a quality TE yet.

Re: We will destroy the Titans
His game is very different now than it was the last time the Titans played the Rams. McNair used to often take off anytime he saw an opening to make a play. Now, he stays more in the pocket and isn't afraid to throw the football away. Though he is still great at avoiding the rush and will run when needed, I think he's matured as a quarterback and will be on the field much more now that the Titans are doing more three-step drops to protect him. Also, he's dropped a lot of weight since last season so he looks to be in the best condition he's been in for years.

Re: We will destroy the Titans
TitanJeff, welcome to the ClanRam. Glad you came by. I appreciate it. I'll stop over at your site today also.
Anyway, Tennessee's pass rush is going to be something that the Rams will have to work on. Bulger will have to hit the hot read quite a bit Sunday.
