With a weak division and a favorable schedule we could still win the division.
I like our schedule better then the other teams in our division. Arizona is the only team ahead of us right now and we are starting to be competitive against good teams. Don't get me wrong I think we have a good ways to go to be considered a good team but it may not even take being a good team to win our division this year.
Here is a schedule break down for the teams in our division.
Week Rams............Cards...........Hawks............*****
09.... Cards.......... @Rams ........Eagles............ Bye Week
10.... @Jets .........*****......... @Dolphins...... @Cards
11.... @*****...... @Hawks ......Cards............. Rams
12.... Bears........... Giants.........Redskins......... @Cowboys
13.... Miami........... @Eagles...... @Cowboys..... @Bills
14.... @Cards........ Rams........... Patriots......... Jets
15.... Hawks.......... Vikings......... @Rams.......... @Miami
16.... *****......... @Patriots...... Jets.............. @Rams
17.... @Falcons..... Hawks........... @Cards......... Redskins
***** is the SanFrancisco team.
I would prefer our schedule over any of the other teams.Last edited by RamsSB99; -11-01-2008 at 05:11 PM.

week 13 sounds about right, if our rammies are for real. cards might not lose again until they face giants. it's possible we can drop one during that time. that's why my best guess is week 13. By week 14 we could start pulling away.

I don't see it happening. The Cards are the better team and we're two games behind them right now. I don't see the Rams beating them in either matchup, especially with Jackson iffy this week at home. That'll put the Rams too far back to make up, even with an "easy" schedule. (I don't think the schedule is as easy as I thought it was before the season started, however). 6-10 or 7-9 won't get the Rams the division.
Man, I hope I'm wrong.Faithful Rams fan since 1968

This game could make or break our season and i see that we're tougher then everyone thinks. We're no longer the group that stuck their heads in holes after falling behind early. We've actually got some spunk for a 2-4 team and if you look closely, these guys walk around like there's some kind of surprise coming around the corner only they know about. We'll see what our boys are made of tomorrow. Week 13.Last edited by Guam rammer; -11-01-2008 at 10:42 PM.

Interesting. I estimated Wk 14 so a win tomorrow would be absolutely GREAT! ...Let's go for it!

Very good post. Tomorrow determines our standings in the NFC west. If we win, we have a big chance of catching them and winning.
We catch them week 13. My guess.
They still need to play New England, Philly and New york. We're only two games out and we already played the toughest teams on our schedule.

I dont think we will catch them. I hope we do but I just think our team as a whole still has a long way to go. The d-line and o-line in particular. We either cant stay healthy or dont play well enough to win. Not enought pressure on the qb and cant keep the pressure off Bulger. Untill those things happen on a consistant basis we arent ready to take the division. I think we will end up at about 7-9 but hope we end up 9-7.
Just Fix It

I see it happening about the time they run into the Giants and Eagles on their schedule. I would not be surprised if 8 wins takes the West, but that means we can't afford to lose games against any of the teams in our division.

Simple.
If the Rams beat the Cards today, they could lead the NFC west by week 12.
If the Rams lose today, they probably won't catch anybody.
This is a very pivotal game today, IMO.
