ever been to Ralph Wilson Stadium when that wind is blowing in at 40 MPH?? Punts have gone backward (no lie). The remarkable thing about the Kelly era was that he could throw in the late fall/early winter...it can be 60 out but if the winds blow in at the right direction and speed it causes havoc...at the top of the stadium, along each side line they have the flags of the AFC (home side) and NFC (away side)...at this time of year you can have two flags next to one another pointing in different directions...the floor of the stadium is actually underground...makes for very tricky winds...early this year Lindell tried a 43 FG toward the scoreboard side of the stadium...for the first 30 yards it went fine...it then hit a wind wall and came down dead.Quote:
