Offense was WAY too conservative and the D folded own the stretch. Oh well.

Am I the only one who thought the call on the PI was horrible? OJ is a receiver as well and he has his own space. Just because the ***** receiver runs into him doesnt mean that is interference. And to add to the injury that is a uncatchable ball.

"THE PLAN!!!!!" cost us a win today. Yeah Randy Moss is a malcontent, but unlike Gibson, he doesn't have the field awareness of Stevie Wonder.

Seriously Gibby, you want to be on the other side of the sticks at the end of the play.

When faced with a must-win, we always find a way to come up short. We had a chance to seize our destiny, but we didn't want it enough.

That pass interference call has been bugging me. Just because the ball is underthrown and the WR has to come back for the ball and knock down the defender doesn't mean it's pass interference. Pass interference does not equal BAD PASS.

Agreed. In addition to it being uncatchable anyway.

I'm a niner fan obviously and that PI call was stupid. Any receiver going full speed who stops all of a sudden and let's the defense run into him doesn't equal a PI call. Plus uncatchable. Why do the Rams hate the niners so much? Maybe from the past. Rams deserve to win the division.

The NFL is becoming like the NBA, where you draw in fouls when you know you can't get the catch or score a point. Then they do all of the drama and force the refs to call a penalty.

That final call was horrible - should never have been called - it was not a catchable ball -- Smith was just throwing it away ... who cares this rams team would find some other way to lose it - too inexperienced and far too many weaknesses.

Positives - Long, Amendola, Bradford, Jackson, Lewis.

I'm not blasting Shurmur for a change. Content yourself with that. It's not Shurmur's fault that Gibson doesn't know what those orange sticks on the sideline mean. And since just 1 first down wins the game for us, I think even a "quitter" like Moss can stay on task for that long.

Re: Week 10 - Rams @ ***** Game Discussion Thread

PI call at the end aside, our coaches need to become more aggressive. I saw some stupid strategy on the field today. For example, its tied. We get the ball back with under two minutes left before halftime. We're supposedly trying to win the division, and we're playing our cheif rival. We have all three timeouts remaining. What do we do? We run the ball and let the clock run before we punt on 4th and 1. Not one single shot down the field. We can't be good by continuing to be so passive. We'll just stay mediocre.
