we really need to be able to throw for more than 3-5 yards.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Just keep leaving the huge holes in the middle of the field.

And seriously can we work on not getting so many penalties or something? It's getting horrible.

While I appreciate the effort, we could do without the offside penalties.

Are our coaches just dense? Why aren't we calling timeouts with Atlanta practically goal to go?

And if we would have used them, we would have a chance to score here ....

I mean, who needs points to close the half, right?

well, at least we held them to 3 twice there so we are still in striking distance. the o needs to start producing something.

This is so bogus. As much as I love what they do most of time (coaches), this kind of crap makes me want to hate them ...

Go into halftime with two timeouts. Could have had over a 1:20 on the clock ...

It also frustrates me because now the Falcon's are going to get the ball back and unless the Defense stops sucking the Falcons are going to get another 3 or 7 points.

You mean we don't now have five timeouts for the second half?

I agree completely, it was painfully obvious that the Rams should have been using those time outs as Ryan is staring at the scoreboard just burning time. Waaaaaay too conservative.

Falcons get the ball to start second half too, I believe. If they score with either a FG or touchdown, it's a two possession game.

Re: Week 11: The Official Falcons @ Rams Game Discussion Thread

I'm starting to think Spags is going to be known as the coach that built the Rams, but not the coach that got to use them once they were built. He makes some serious mistakes from a game management position and while he seems capable of learning from mistakes in every other phase of the game, I don't think he believes he makes mistakes in game management. At least not from what I'm hearing when he's asked about it.

That was absurd, and as much as I like what this coaching staff does, these types of mental breakdowns will make me turn my back on them in a hurry ....

We're never going to win anything with that attitude, and what kind of message does it send to the team? We're going to have to play way above our heads to come back and win this game ...

At least we have 5 timeouts, right Nick?
