Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
Week 6 Survivor Pool
Well, last week really did a number on a lot of participants. Good luck to the rest of you.
Reminders: (PLEASE READ)
*You may not use the same team more than once for your picks. It will be your responsibility to keep track of your teams along the way. If you use the same team, your pick will be consider a loss.
*The field of play in being narrowed down. You will need to submit the total score of the Rams game for each corresponding week (i.e. if you believe the Rams/Chargers game will be 2 to 5, you would submit a 7). This number will be used to break a tie if every person is eliminated during a given week. The person closest to the actual score would win. Failure to submit a score will disqualify you from consideration if a tie should occur that week.
*This weeks picks will be due by 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. There will be no exceptions to this rule. I am doing this for when I should be available to compile all the information and deal with this.
* Questions? See my attorney, bigredman--Retained on a retainer

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
This could go on for some time. Other than Indianapolis, the players have not already spent picks on the very top teams (for instance, two of the three have not picked Chicago yet).

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
Yes, but you know Chicago or Indy will lose sooner or later. Look at the teams that nearly beat them. You never know. Who would of thought that Jacksonville would lose to Houston, but they did, and now I'm floundering in the abyss of elimination!

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
I'm the one that has already picked Chicago, and believe me, I had to sweat that game against the Cards out! ...and boy, I'm glad I changed my pick from Jax to Denver this past week. After I read about Leftwich being injured and questionable, I went with Denver to beat the Browns. whew!!!
This week, I'll pick......
...let me think about it.

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
Talk about a blood bath! What a weekend. I went with San Diego over KC. Hoping Jax would lose. That San Diego game was another cardiac arrest game. Lost with a last minute field goal. Oh well, good luck to the final 3 survivors. But, after last weekend, its easy to see that no selection is for sure. Pick wisely...Bwhahahahahahaha!

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
It is not very often that this game makes it to week eight in most office pools. You guys are doing a fine job and are welcome to come to Vegas with me any time.

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
I knew the Houston game was going to be iffy. This week was really whack.
I keep getting better each year. Have to look at the players more closely.
Ronde Barber has a hex on McNabb; 62 yard field goal, though. Man....:xAlways a Rams Fan............

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
Why waste that now? That's an easy win. I thought the idea was to choose the least guarantee that you know (hope really bad) will win? I'll save them for week 10 when they play the Giants...
But, I am glad you mentioned Big Ben and that I said I would revisit this Friday. I forgot about his big head...

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
Greetings from the Mountain Time Zone,
I think I will keep you all in suspense till Friday. The Raiders-Steelers does look tasty. However, since the other two have picked that game I will probably go a different direction.
Good Luck guys,

LOL!! Doesn't mean I won't change my mind between now and then. In fact, I had two other "locks" that I'm thinking of switching to....Greetings from the Mountain Time Zone,

Re: Week 8 Survivor Pool--And then there were three
I went out with the Raiders last week in another pool. I was surprised that they could beat the Cardinals, but they did. About half the people got knocked out, but it is a buy back league, and I am buying back in.
Good luck to you three that are left....stretch it out. You have got to be better than 8 picks.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
