This week's game against the Jets is a MUST WIN!!!!
Why is this game a MUST WIN?
Not because of the playoff picture. I'm not ready to declare that the Rams are in the hunt just yet.
Not because its been a while since the Rams won, though that is a factor.
Not because the Rams need an emotional lift after missing an opportunity to get a "W" vs. the Niners, though it certainly would be nice to move past the letdown.
The reason this is a MUST WIN is because the Rams are a better football team than the Jets.
How long has it been since Rams fans could conclusively say that about an opponent?
Just look at the numbers here:
The Rams average nearly 30 yards more on offense per game.
The Rams run for more yards, and have a higher ypc (4.2 to 3.8) than the Jets.
The Rams pass for more yards, and have a higher team passer rating (85.9 to 71.0).
The Rams have given up fewer yards per game.
The Rams have allowed fewer points per game.
The Rams need to win this one.
And I believe that they will.

And with the struggles of Sanchez at the horizon, the key injury to Revis, I don't see why we'll lose this game unless the Rams decide to underachieve (which I doubt Fisher will allow them to). I just hope they'll reduce the penalties on the field.

I bet Schotty is amped up to give his old team a drubbing. Let's hope they don't come out too aggressive and shoot themselves in the foot (no joke intended). I really think we can win this one. Time to get Sanchez measured for a Chris Long jersey because he's gonna have one on his back all day.

Huh?
While he missed a couple of tackles on Sunday, overall he's had a great year (he is 1st in the NFL in solo tackles).

This is a must for our defense to get back on track with turnovers and pressures/sacks.
Needs to be a blowout to get our confidence going again.
If they do have Tebow in, we may actually have trouble with him when he takes off running since our defense tends to not be in position or pay any attention to a running Qb
