A weird choice for Defensive favorite

But, then, I'm a weird guy.
My favorite defensive player is a tough call, but I have to go with...John Baker.
Yeah, the punter.
Kicking and punting a football is the only athletic thing I could ever do worth a darn, so I'm partial to kickers. And when I was a kid, I had a replica Rams jersey complete with shoulder pads and helmet...remember those? Imagine me, with my Rams outfit, running around the neighborhood playing "Kill the man with the football" in that get-up surrounded by Cowboys fans! Anyway, you put your own number on there, and for some reason I chose number 4. I can't even remember a number four before Baker. So that's my favorite defensive player.

Wish they had an icon for ROFL!!!! Hey, good for you. Dez, I jump on this bandwagon and also cast my vote for Baker, well lets maker Baker our Special Teams MVP so far. Defensively, my favorite, CHIDI. Not flashy, but stuffs the run.

Oh, heck...if a Texans agreeing with me, I'm changing my mind!

Maybe we should have a defensive favorite (with Wistrom mine but Tommy Polley rising rapidly) AND a special teams favorite where we can root for Baker or Holcomb or Leonard Little or Wilkins or Jeff Robinson or the other unsung heroes of the Rams. No good special teams, no championship! So let's hear it for the Special Teams!! Hip hip...
