I don't see how you can vote for anything but the D-line.

That being said, we know Little will be back as a starter. Is Glover one and done with the Rams? Is Kennedy going to lose his job or is he just doing what is asked? Take up space and let the playmaker make the plays. Adeyanju do you see him starting opposite of Little? Hes ok against the run, but not much of a pass rusher.

D-line it is. What about Wrotten? Will he show up anytime soon at DT, even next yr?

I suppose Fisk will be down-and-out at season's end but I'm expecting to see Claude's name in the mix, not just as a hopeful either.

DE Brandon Green, I think is a keeper.

tye hill, brown, and bartell have a shot to be a decent corner trio... atogwe plays great one game then gives u nothing like he did against the cardinals... he needs to be more consistent... chavous has been a bust...
linebackers have been banged up all year so cant give them a mark.

DLINE ON THE OTHER HAND SUCKS... OTHER THAN LITTLE AND OCCASIONALLY VICTOR/B.GREEN.. OUR LINE HAS SUCKED.. YOU GUYS REMEMBER WHEN WE WERE TALKING ABOUT EITHER SIGNING JASON FISK OR GRADY JACKSON???? I THINK THE GRADY JACKSON WON!1!!!1111 FISK HAS LAID AN EGG.... NO WONDER WHY LAROI GLOVER SIGNED SO QUICKLY, HE KNEW NO ONE ELSE WOULD GIVE HIM THAT KIND OF MONEY THE RAMS DID...

Re: What area is the highest priority?

Little will be back at DE. I think that Kennedy is out of position at the nose tackle and should be moved to Glover's position. If Glover will take a pay cut (don't know if that is possible with is contact) keep him as a backup otherwise cut him. I don't know what is available via FA for nose tackle but I'd think that would be the priority. We need size at the nose tackle to protect our undersized LB. But I like the speed at LB if we can protect them. Look for another DE in the draft. Wrotten and Adeyanju are young and worth developing. Green has proven to be a good backup but we need more then just a high motor opposite Little.

Re: What area is the highest priority?

Any kind of playmaker for the D-line should be the #1 priority as I see it right now. A pass-rusher opposite Little, a big physical run-stuffing tackle to clog up the middle, either is sorely needed. Right now Little is all we really have, all opposing offenses have to figure out is to double-team him all game and we can do nothing. We have other holes on defense, but the biggest immediate impact would be from getting another playmaker to play alongside Little, both because of the production said playmaker could provide and for the attention he would take away from Little. That's where I'm looking with the #1 pick right now, hopefully we don't grab another Damione Lewis though...

Any reason why? I don't recall him doing much of another at the other DT spot in the past. At least at the nose he's shown some flashes.

So, I'm pretty sure we can all agree that we need to upgrade the Defensive Line ... With Alan Branch?

If Alan Branch is available we must take him. But if not I think the Rams should go to free agency to solve the problem. DL draft picks take forever to make an impact.

But is there a free agent DT that's going to make an impact? I'm not convinced there is.

There is no super star but a couple that would help us stop the run would be

    DT Robaire Smith [Tennessee]

    or
    DT Terdell Sands [Oakland]
    DT Tommey Kelly [Oakland] RFA

My fear is that their is only one dominant DT in college football right now and that is Alan Branch and all the early buzz has him as a top 5.

Re: What area is the highest priority?

In reply to Nick about my reasoning on Kennedy. I remember reading somewhere that the main issue with Kennedy is that he penetraits and pursues too much instead of occupying the blockers which is his job. That is the mind set of the other tackle position, not the nose tackle. We can't afford to throw everyone away and start over, so maybe Kennedy is starting to mature as a tackle, just not a nose tackle.
