Confidence, toughness and swagger.Courtland and Fisher have been huge impacts mentally for us so far.We have talent but the way we play is more impressive never giving up and showing the will to win.

I couldn't have said it any better.

Which leads me to one word "ATTITUDE" and a postive one at that!

Re: What is the biggest change from 2011 to 2012?

Door #1, without question. I can truthfully say that this is the first time in ten years that I have really been pumped up about the Rams. I was glued to the TV for the first two games, on pins and needles for every play just like the old days. It’s been such a long time since the GSOT…Martz struggled along for a few years, as the Rams slid into mediocrity, but he was out of his league as a head coach, with no clue about defense. The defense just got worse and worse as he hired incompetent DCs like Larry Marmie while bad drafts did nothing to upgrade an aging team. Then came the idiot Loserhan, and the complete collapse. Everyone thought Devaney and Spags would be the saviors who would rebuild the Rams, but by that time the talent level wasn’t much above a Division II college team. Perhaps Spags could have survived if not for the unbelievable rash of injuries in 2011 and the grevious mistake in hiring xxx as OC. Last years nightmare left management no choice but to completely start over. Perhaps 2011 had to happen, to bring Jeff Fisher and Les Snead in to save the day. I could see the difference almost immediately…the assembling of an experienced staff, the expertise in the way the draft was handled, and the confidence and professionalism that Fisher possesses. Yes, we’re a young team with lots of holes still to fill. But Rams football is fun again, and win or lose this season, I’ll be glued to every game, because I know this team will give 110%, never quit, and that we have a coach that will keep them that way. And boy, does the future look bright!

Re: What is the biggest change from 2011 to 2012?

I voted "A refusal to give up even when down" but it was really hard. If I had the choice, it would be 1-4. Here is how I would rate them, IMO.

A refusal to give up even when down.
The confidence that comes from strong leadership.
A defense that attacks, hits and intimidates.
An offensive that is suited toward the strengths of the player we have.

I realize that my first choice is a result of my second, but I am soooooo tire of the way prior teams just quit when they were kick while down by their opponents and officials. This year they are refusing to let bad calls steal the games from them. I also feel that even if you have "The confidence that comes from strong leadership", you still have players that give up when they face adversity. Maybe those are the 40% that are gone.

I went with offense. It's almost light and day between this year and last year.

Really, it's another vote for all of the above.

But since that wasn't an option I took refusing to give up when down. I love the tenacity of this team.

Superlatives, and grasping the concept thereof, have never been our strong suit around here.

I'll say the confidence that comes from veteran leadership in the coaches office. Haven't had that in years.

The biggest difference I've seen so far is the quality of the players themselves. Amendola is back. He may not be an elite WR but he clicks with Bradford. That and the roster turnover. Most of the dead weight is gone. Is it 40% of last years team is gone? Or is it 60% Either way the quality of play is way better. I expect next year's team to be even better.
