What is the biggest question entering the new season

1) Romberg or McCollum?

2) Wroten or Glover?

3) Hall or Victor?

4) Draft inside or outside?

5) Chillar or Draft?

6) Bruce number 2 or Bennett?

7) Bartell at nickel or at safety?

8) adding Jenkins?

9) Leonard at fullback or tailback or H-Back?

10) McMichael or Klop?

11) Setterstrom of Terrell?

12) Carriker or Wroten?

14) Jackson or Ryans?

15) Looker or Hagans?

16) Alston a safety or linebacker?

You know when you really sit down at look at things, there a lot of questions on the table. What is the most import question or maybe most important answer?

These two would make the most impact on the team IMO. The rest are not that big of a question. Some I think are as close to a given as can be and others are kind of a wash talent wise. I think these are the two areas we need the biggest improvement at this year. We have the one DL spot up for grabs Glover, Wrotten, or Jenkins. At LB Draft had the most tackles on a very good Carolina D last year. I would like to see him start ahead of Chillar. We need sure tacklers and to stop the run with our front 7. Five spots are taken with Little, Carriker, Hall, Spoon, and Pisa.

Re: What is the biggest question entering the new season

The biggest question for me has to be Ryans vs. Jackson vs. any veteran we bring in for backup at nose tackle. Romberg vs. McCollum will also be a very good camp battle. I'm curious about how Alston will be used, but at this point the outcome is probably not as important to the team success as other questions since Alston won't be starting and might not even be the primary backup at either position.

I think the only tow that aren't locks in one direction are Ryan and Jackson and Jenkins.

Re: What is the biggest question entering the new season

How much better will Carriker play than what we've had in the past? That is the question for me. Wroten has a year of experience under his belt and an off-season of strength and conditioning as well. If nothing else he looks to be in much better shape than last year. Carriker will set the tone on the D. I know he's a rookie, but I also believe that he is a special player. If teams cannot run on us at will as they did last year, the entire D will have a healthier and meaner attitude. Carriker has been handed the job at this point, therefore we sink or swim with him as our NT. In terms of attitude and production I have a feeling that the Rams have finally found a bigger, stronger version of Jack Youngblood. Just you wait and see fellow Ram fans ...

We need fearsome safetys that are hitters and tacklers. We don't hear anything of these important anchormen.

Re: What is the biggest question entering the new season

I know it's not listed up there but I have to go with how effective will our inside tackles be? This has been our Achilles tendon for a while now. I can't help but feel that we can't make it back to the superbowl without resolving the issues that we have on the defensive line first. It is my guess that by opening day our starting inside tackles will be Claude Wroten and Adam Carriker. Thus that leads me to question how effectively can we stop the run with two rookies in the middle? Which I believe we can do effectively with them and the pressure on the outside coming from Leonard Little and James Hall/Victor Adeyanju

Re: What is the biggest question entering the new season

I got to say Chillar or Draft. Go draft. There is no question if McMichael is gonna start over Klop. I'm pretty sure Bartell is the nickleback and won't go back to saftey.

Re: What is the biggest question entering the new season

Wroten will be a second-year player next season, but yes, it does bring up a lot of questions as to the reliability of two tackles who have not started yet.

yes i realize that he is a second year player. The way I look at it, is that he's going from being a bench guy to being either a starter or being into included in a rotation. So in my mind he's going to be a rookie in the sense of he's going from the bench to playing a good chunk of time.
