Re: What Cardinal fans are saying
It seems as though Cardinal fans, unlike whiner fans know when they have one of the worst, if not the worst team in the NFL and really have nothing to say. They had so much confidence before the season but after what has transpired this year, especially the epic meltdown against Chicago on national TV, they've been completely muted. Someone should have told them a new stadium and sold out season wasn't going to make a difference.

From what they say over there, I think they are hoping for a close game, but a Rams win. These guys are hoping to see 'Zona get a good spot in the draft, so they can trade for a few extra picks.
And...I am getting lonely over there. I'm the only Rams fan to visit them and give 'em a hard time.

Re: What Cardinal fans are saying
I went to the Cardinal web site via the NFL site, don't know the name of their board off the top of my head, but there wasn't a single mention of the game coming up this Sunday. Nothing. Zero. Nada.
Just a lot of *****in' and complainin' about their lousy team, and, "what happened"? I can only imagine what it's like to be a Cardinal fan. :\
In fact, the sports bar I go to every Sunday to watch the Rams (cuz' they're never on TV here in So Cal) is a gathering of a hundred or more football fans, most wearing their team colors. And I have yet to see anybody wearing a Cardinal jersey. Pretty sad.

Re: What Cardinal fans are saying
You know...
I posted this because this has to be one of the worst franchises to ever play the game. It is the only team I know that can take All-Pro Talent and send them to the gutters of New Jersey. Anyone (the 12 fans) that have stuck with the team over the years have my respect. I watched them play a little last week and I watched James' face after his 5 carries and talk about a look of total disbelief.

Re: What Cardinal fans are saying
I remember watching the Cards as a kid. Larry Wilson was the only player who ever stood out in the few games that I watched.
The Cards are a team with a long history, even longer than our Rams. They have also had long droughts during those years. When they left St, Louis, I remember there wasn't too much said other than "Bye". I don't know why, but this strikes me in a wierd way.
The Rams came to St. Louis from LA. There are still diehard fans in California. Those fans remember the decline and fall of the Rams, just like the fans from St. Louis remember the Rams from the first few seasons there.
The Cards fans around here are few and far between. I know fans from every team in the NFL except Atlanta and Detroit, and only 1 Card fan. It's wierd, because the baseball Cardinals have a HUGE following here. Heck, even the Royals have fans still to be found.
Where are the rest of those Cardinal fans? I know if I had a choice between death, wearing a whiners jersey, or wearing a Cards jersey, I'd pick the Cards jersey in a heartbeat. Yeah, they aren't a good team. But, at least they aren't the whiners....and that is something to be proud of!
