Any recent news on El Kabong? I might have missed it, but i was wondering if he has officially been cut. I havent read about him in camp and i am not even sure if the commissioner has reinstated him.

Last I heard he is going to play for Jim Haslett in the new football league, and therefore would not need to apply for reinstatement in the NFL ..Quote:

Well that gives us from our 2006 draft...
A trade where we gave up the chance to draft Haloti Ngata or Jay Cutler in favour of getting Tye Hill and a former NFL druggie and current UFL DY.
A backup TE that is likely to be cut. A linebacker we did cut who is now starting for the Raiders. Another TE that we did cut and who also had off the field problems, who is now trying to catch on at Arizona. A QB/WR who is now out of football. A linebacker playing in the UFL. A guard who never made it out of training camp really. And Victor Adeyanju and Mark Setterstrom. Players who have started but are mostly expected to be backups.
So in all, a pretty terrible showing.
